Summary
The flight back from Crosswinds Corner is a strained and quiet one, though Ollie is happier than he can say to see that ostentatious and ugly castle in the middle of the Nevada desert gone. Tom Kalmaku gets dropped off safely at his own home with little fanfare, and they’re just outside Seattle when Ollie directs Hal down to a vaguely run-down little motel on the outskirts of town instead of the once-fanciful Sherwood Florist. If Hal’s surprised at all, he doesn’t show it.
