    Summary

Zoro stares at the calendar.  He's supposed to...what now?

"Are—"  The waiter cuts himself off and tries again.  "I'm sorry.  Do you mean we're having...more than one party?"

Luffy slaps his hands on the counter and shouts, "Twenty-one parties!"

    ***

The crew has solstice festival hijinks with fireworks, a hot tub, a piñata, a stolen piano, crappy gift exchange, too much food, too much alcohol, and Luffy's wearing a pool floatie. Zoro's just along for the ride.

    Summary

If you happen to have read another book about Edward Bear, you may remember that he lived with his friends in a wood called the Hundred Acre Wood. It was a small wood, and small things happened, the kind of things that happen to bears in places where even if elevenses are late there is always a little something for tea.

    This isn't that story.

Okay, so I don't know how much of an impact Winnie the Pooh was on your childhood. But to say I was unaware of The Hundred Acre Wood and a certain Bear would be a dirty, dirty lie.

So when I came across a Winnie the Pooh fanfiction slap bang in the middle of an Apocalypse Big Bang Challenge, I couldn't not read it. It called out to my perverse sense of humour that someone had written a Winnie the Pooh apocalypse story of epic proportion... You think it'd be a parody or something, right? WRONG.

'Epic' is the right word. I cannot describe it without using 'most' followed by a bunch of superlatives.
With a voice perfectly in the style of A. A. Milne's original children's stories, it makes excellent use of hypertext (though I recommend not reading footnote 5 in advance), and comes with a gorgeous illustration and a fanmix.

The use of Rupert Brooke's poem; the last little quotation from A. A. Milne; the goddamn footnotes - The thing is... this story broke me.

And I want to share the bitter, oh so bitter-sweet joy.

Please, I beg of you, go read Jay Tryfanstone's 'And Is There Honey Still For Tea?'

Maybe once you've gathered the remains of your shredded hearts you can tell me how much you enjoyed it too.

    Summary

You’ll always be the God of Mischief—but you could be more. As though it’s that easy. As though Loki can snap his fingers and turn himself into a new person.

    Scratch that. Let’s start over.

You’ll always be the God of Mischief—but you could be more. And Loki is pretty sure that’s what he wants. Not to be a new person. That’s never worked. The problem is, Loki has never been sure what he wants. Or perhaps he has, and it’s only that he’s been very good at lying to himself about it.

Loki, Prince of Asgard, Odinson, God of Mischief, searches for his place in the universe, the Nine Realms, and his family. Put another way: Loki learns how to be more.

    Summary

Jim Kirk was a strange man. A silent man. No one knew much about him or, if they did, were not willing to say what they did know, especially to the town’s newest magical occupant. Not that Leonard McCoy cared. He had an old curse to track down and unravel by the year's end. Meanwhile a killer was tracking him. AU.
