Summary
Every myth contains a grain of truth. Every legend begins with a story. Every fantastical tale is real in some fashion.
Civilians have always claimed that Ninja are inhuman. (The civilian rumours are not wrong.) The Ninja have always dismissed the accusations. (They should not have.)
Just because Ninja a mostly human now does not mean that is the way it has always been...
... Or that it will remain that way.
Those that fall can also rise. Madara takes the first step. Tobirama follows. Together they make it the rest of the way. (They pave the way for others to follow.)

The genin are either completely oblivious or having fun with this, the jounin-sensei are one step away from ripping all their hair out, and the formidable order of desk-shinobi is not pleased with this.
And then there's Team Kakashi.

Summary
He’s twelve when he realises, from notes and scribbles and an unsteady conversation with the vigilante Stain, who speaks with him as if they’ve met before, that dying picks at his brain – erasing bits and pieces of his memories and leaving his mind in a shoddy patchwork of a mess.
At that point it’s already too late – whatever he’d been before he was Deku is completely gone, dissolved from his mind with only a vague idea of a woman who’d meant something.

Summary
“Such a harsh judge,” Fiyero said with a teasing smirk. “I think Miss Elphaba has forgotten how to be objective.”
Crope laughed and Elphaba’s frown deepened. How unfair. She pointed a long finger at him, nail looking sharper than usual, and said heatedly, “Just because I’m in love with Galinda, it doesn’t mean I can’t be objective. The boundaries were sworn upon. Crope was the last one to touch the shuttle. That makes its Galinda’s point.”
Silence greeted her words, more than she expected, even if they did see sense in her judgment after all. Which, to be honest, she didn’t expect them to. Narrowing her eyes in suspicion, she looked at each of them in turn and was bewildered to see them all in some sort of state of shock.
For his Ozness’s sake, what was it now?

Caduceus scratches his leg. The itch fades for a moment, sated...and then returns. He scratches his leg again.
The grass here is—well, it’s nice, it smells great, and it’s much more familiar than the streets around here, dull and dusty, not so much as a tangleweed peeking up through the hard-packed earth...but it’s also not like the grass back home. It’s dryer. More brittle.

Summary
Tobirama figured he'd long since become inured to his brother's constant, loud harping about peace.
There were very few things Tobirama was so consistently wrong about.
(In which a kid decides she's totally adult enough to be on the battlefield and it's not FAIR, and Tobirama takes exception to that.)
(In which Madara falls in about half a second flat.)
Set in KeanBlade's Madara/Tobirama multiverses.

Madara and Hashirama should have thought it through a little better. Expecting everything to go their way, just because they've gone back in time and know what's going to happen, is maybe not a good idea.
People don't just roll over and let you control everything.
