The thing about soulmates is that no one truly knows if they exist even jujitsu sorcerers don’t know. The talk of soulmates is always some fantasy ‘you're the one’ type thing but no one can truly know if the people they love are their soulmates.
There are two people who know or at least have an idea of soulmates. Mahito is a curse with the ability to touch and change soul’s loves to mess around with the bonds between souls causing more pain for others. The other is Yuuji with the knowledge of his soul plus dying has led him to understand that souls are connected in some way but still not truly understanding how.
