Summary
Cody swallowed again. Forced his lips and tongue to form the words. Prayed to gods he didn’t believe in that his voice was steady. “It’s been an honor to serve with you, Obi-Wan." He heard his General take a sharp breath and felt the rumble of words pouring through the comm, but he couldn’t hold onto them long enough to understand. That was okay. He’d protected his jetii, and he’d said what he needed to say. Obi-Wan would forgive him. When the cold closed in, Cody was smiling.
[Or: Cody has always known he would die for his General. Obi-Wan disagrees, and now they must deal with the consequences.]

Summary
"It clicks in Cody’s mind: Halcard wants attention. He wants a passive audience, and Kenobi and the other diplomats won’t give it to him. He wants to feel more powerful than the systems he exists within. In his silence, Cody has become perfect for Halcard’s musings."
When a visiting diplomat takes an interest in Cody, Cody courts his attention to gain political advantage — even while Cody navigates growing romantic tension with Obi-Wan. As the diplomat's motivations grow sinister, Cody finds his life, selfhood, and connection with Obi-Wan in hanging in the balance.

The war is over. Cody is no longer the Marshal Commander of an army. He’s just a man.
Kote never got the chance to decide what that meant for him. But he can now, and it starts with picking what color he wants to paint his walls.

War changes a person, but a clone is not a person. A clone is a weapon, engineered for obedience, and decommissioned when a liability. The Kaminoans made damn sure to carve that fact into Cody's bones. War does not change a clone.
But falling in love with a Jedi does.

Summary
Designation CC-2224, Marshal Commander Kote ‘Cody’, had always been a particularly good judge of character.
So, when he met his General for the 212th Attack Battalion, who immediately asked for his brother’s name not designation, he knew he would be a good General.
The General felt like a lake. Calm and painfully blue, but equally deep, and if Cody was one for dramatics, maybe a little mysterious.
However, Cody could also feel that the General was a liar. Intelligent and manipulative, caring but vicious, overt yet sly. He almost seemed like a politician. Cody reckoned he’d be pretty good at it.
Or, Cody is a Force sensitive empath and it changes the course of history.

His general scoffed. "We're going to be sleeping together, Cody, quite literally. The least you could do would be to drop the formalities and call me Obi-Wan. At least for tonight."
That skirted too close to a line of familiarity Cody wasn't willing to cross—not here, not now. "If you say so."
