Killer struggles with this, and fails spectacularly at taking a shower in the meantime.
The healing process is never linear. It has its ups and downs. This is definitely a down. Luckily, Nightmare is there to help with the aftermath.

Summary
Centuries ago, the young guardian of Negativity, Nightmare, was killed by a terrible monster. That's what everyone always assumes; it's a nice, simple story, after all. It has villains and victims, the Corruption and the child, and an ending that wraps it up in a neat little bow. The dead can't complicate matters.
But Nightmare is neither monster nor child, and no version of him died that day.
An AU where "Passive", Nightmare, and "Corrupted" all survived, and cohabit the same body (although not with those names).

Band AU is an AU of the Undertale Multiverse where everyone's human and also many of them are in a band! Also pretty much everyone is trans except Killer. The two bands are Aphelion:
Nightmare [manager], he/him
Killer [vocals, songwriter], he/him
Horror [drums], he/they
Dust [e. guitar], he/him but doesn't care
Cross [bass], they/he
and the Stars:
Dream [vocals, co-songwriter], she/her
Ink [drums, co-songwriter], they/he
Blue [e. guitar and the occasional piano], she/theyI won't be writing everything, but important plot points are:
- Nightmare & Dream were originally teen idols
- Killer's contract originally sucked because NM had issues at the time but it got better quickly
- H/K and H/Du love triangle, eventually resolved through HK -> MTT -> BSP
- The Stars are over there being like healthy (although Blue is stressed the hell out)
- There are some! cross-band relationships (romantic or otherwise)
- Error [she/he, tech] and Lust [they/them, stylist] are also there
- The living situation is ambiguous
