Jeongin is trying to teach him the rules, but Hyunjin hasn’t been paying very close attention, too lost in his own head. Jeongin never seems to mind, he’s endlessly patient, the silly thing, that’s why he’s perfect for this specific request. Not that Hyunjin is likely to ask anyone else anyways, he only has two friends (three if he counts Felix).
Jeongin looks up from the game pieces, his eyebrows raised and his mouth dropped open in a circle. “Huh?”
Hyunjin scrunches his nose. So cute, his silly boy is. “I’ve been thinking about all the human things I want to do, now that I’m down here for good. I want to try everything that I couldn’t do before!”

“Paragraph nineteen subsection C,” Seungmin says, not even looking down as he recites the document word for word. “Lease is not voidable in the case of suspected paranormal activity.” He pounds his finger on the period.
Minho laughs. A short, barked thing, completely disbelieving. “You’re kidding me.”
“I’m really not,” Seungmin’s face pinches up into the sort of fake, squinted smile someone gives when they’re being an asshole. No remorse.

Objectively, it’s a strange question to ask. It has nothing to do with anything. It’s only a throwaway detail, to anyone else. They could have been out buying fried chicken, or band-aids, or fucking fish food, and it wouldn’t have changed anything.
But they weren’t. They were buying ice cream. And Jisung knows why Minho asks, because Jisung isn’t anyone else.
He tightens his grip around Felix’s waist. Minho’s eyes stay on his face, but Jisung knows he catches the action. Peripheral vision, or something. He swipes a tongue over his bottom lip, dry, and Minho follows that one. His gaze is so heavy on him that it makes Jisung forget all his lines. All his stories, all his rehearsed feelings. There’s only one line he knows, and it’s only because his heart memorized it for him.
Why? Minho asks.
“For you,” Jisung answers.
(P158 - Jisung agrees to fake date Felix to get Seungmin to stop setting him up with random guys. Even though they end up committing to the bit in a super cringey, over the top, painfully obviously in how fake it is way, Minho gets ridiculously jealous anyway and has to come to terms with why that is.)

Hitoka frowns at him. “How did you and Hinata-kun get together, then? I’m sure it wasn’t as easy as you make it sound.”
Yamaguchi giggles. “You’d be surprised,” he whispers.
