'Tch', goes Bakugou, cracking his neck and flicking a shower of sparks into the camera for show. His gaze has a feral glint to it, lips pulling back until his canines are bared. 'Think you'll still be manly in Heaven, Riot?'
Mina, between them with her arms outstretched and dressed in sleek black, intones: 'Remember the rules. Three rounds. No quirks, no biting, nutshots or hair-pulling. Play fair, gentlemen.'
Kirishima laughs, 'Mina, please.' Huffing, Bakugou rolls his eyes, meets Kirishima's fist in the middle for a quick tap to agree to those conditions.
'Stop saying obvious shit. Let's fucking go!'"
Kirishima and Bakugou have sparred a thousand times in the past three years. Unfortunately, surprises still happen.

Every year of headache-inducing brats brings a new set of challenges, and Shouta is well aware of this. This year is no different - he’s got Tensei’s younger brother who is practically his pseudo-nephew, a foster kid with a mental quirk who outright refuses to speak during class, and somehow he pulled the short straw to receive Endeavor’s youngest son.
It quickly becomes apparent, however, that even these class highlights will not be the priority focus in avoiding disasters this year. They’re only a week in when the kid he placed in Seat 17 brutally attacks a classmate from 1B, landing the other kid in the hospital and refusing to provide any semblance of explanation to the staff.

Through various accounts from personnel and the Boss himself the world finally gets answers. Truth be told Katsuki has no idea how he’s doing this either, but he is. Probably helps that he’s fucking amazing.

Hitoshi freezes when he spots someone on his roof. For a moment, adrenaline kicks in, until he remembers that he’s at U.A. and that no unauthorized person could have entered without setting off all kinds of alarms, so whoever is on this roof with him, must be a student.
Indignation then courses through him, because this is his roof, how dare someone take that spot when it’s his one way of unwinding after a socially stressful day with the most friendly class he ever had the misfortune to know and it isn’t until he takes another step forward, prepared to call the person out, that he realises it’s Katsuki.
And in that very same moment, he sees the faraway look on his face, spots how he seems to be pushed down by some invisible weight and it’s only then that Hitoshi realises that Katsuki is sitting at the ledge of the roof, his legs dangling over the edge, slightly leaning forward as if he needs to get a better look down.

Everything Bakugou does is loud and grumpy and so incredibly predictable it makes Shouto’s chest ache. Everything is so easy with him. There’s never any surprises, anything Shouto has to read too hard into. Even when he’s lost, all he has to do is ask Bakugou to help him find his way out of the conversation, and Bakugou will. He might call him a ‘stupid fucking idiot’ while doing it, but he’ll do it nonetheless.
Which is exactly why, when Bakugou says—
