Summary
“Nick.” Vash releases Wolfwood’s hand in order to cup the side of his face. Wolfwood shuts his eyes, turning his head just enough to press his lips to Vash’s palm in a soundless kiss. When he opens them again, the blood is gone, and Vash is warm beneath his hand. He meets his eyes and they’re so impossibly kind that Wolfwood could believe for a second that heaven is real and it’s here in his arms.
“You won’t hurt me,” Vash says with so much certainty, so much trust, and that has Wolfwood gasping like a drowning man, coming down and seizing Vash’s mouth in a bruising kiss.
(Or, Wolfwood learns what his hands are capable of)

Wolfwood eases him back down into the bed. Runs a hand through his own hair, digging his nails in just to feel the burn because he’s seriously starting to think he’s bitten off more than he can chew.
“You idiot,” he breathes into the open air, “I’m goin’ to kill you when you wake up.”
If the sickness doesn’t get to him first. But that thought goes unspoken.
(Or, Vash gives too much of himself away, and Wolfwood is left to pick up the pieces.)

How can Damian know he’s not manipulating someone unless his actions are as cold, as flatly featureless as they possibly can be? He assumed that eventually, one of the Bats would track him down to make sure that's all he's doing, and the replacement is the one that does. At least, that's what he thinks, until he realizes that Tim is stumbling into a very nasty group of mercenaries instead.

The conclusion being: standing in the middle of Jason’s apartment, in his civvies, glaring down Jason. Jason, who is glaring back at him just as fiercely, who has several inches and pounds of muscle on Tim, Jason who the last time they were alone together tried to kill Tim.OR; The one where Jason goes undercover as a prostitute, Tim has to teach him how to be sexy, and, along the way, feelings happen.
