Summary
Krista Lenz. That was who sat there. Not Historia Reiss. Krista was easier. Krista was palatable.
Krista would say yes when asked on a date. It was not that Historia lacked the capacity to refuse. She understood the mechanics of refusal well enough—the shape of the word no upon the tongue, the subtle withdrawal of a smile, the firm yet graceful boundary that could be drawn if one wished to preserve dignity without inciting conflict. She was not weak, but she was new, and new things, she had learned, required gentleness. Required compliance. Required the careful cultivation of impressions, as though one were arranging flowers for strangers whose tastes were unknown but whose judgment was absolute.
Reiner Braun had asked her out with an earnestness that bordered on reverence, and she—Krista—had agreed with a smile that felt like porcelain settling over her skin. It would make things easier.
____
Shortly after discharging from the psychiatric hospital, Historia Reiss adapts to life as Krista Lenz. She's kind, soft spoken, and doesn't argue. However, when she meets Ymir Braun, who seems all too familiar, things change in her miserable life.

Summary
“How do I repent?” he repeated, quieter this time. “I know what I did was necessary. God told me so but I know that I am still supposed to repent when I sin. I do not understand which part was the sin.”
Armin's mouth went dry at his gaze. There was an awful sincerity in his expression, a genuine belief that Armin possessed some knowledge inaccessible to ordinary people. Bertholdt had constructed an entire theology around his own experiences, and somehow Armin had become one of its central figures.
“I don't know,” Armin whispered. “I told you, I'm not an angel.”
“I know what you say.” Bertholdt's voice remained remarkably gentle. “But God tells me otherwise.”
The silence between them stretched until Bertholdt spoke again.
“Tell me, how can I repent for these thoughts?”
____
Armin Arlert’s first mistake was taking notice in the church boy, Bertholdt Hoover, who is entirely convinced he is an angel sent for him. -

Summary
Slingshot nodded faintly, still trying to steady himself. “Thank you for tonight, Coil.”
Coil didn’t answer right away. Then, softer than before, he said, “I love you.”
“..You know I can’t say that back,” Slingshot whispered.
“Then lie.”
“I love you more, Coil.”
_______Based off Casual by Chappell Roan, Slingshot and Coil work through misunderstandings and piece together their relationship. This piece of work includes and focuses on homophobia, read with discretion.

Summary
Slingshot saw the shoreline.
Clear as if he were standing there again.
The rocks were uneven beneath his feet, the ocean stretching endlessly beside them, waves crashing in steady, rhythmic breaths. The air had been salty, sharp, alive.
Coil had been laughing. Not the tight, restrained smirk he’d worn in later years. Not the distant, unreadable expression he’d learned to hide behind.
“You seriously tellin’ me ya never been out here?” Coil had said, walking ahead of him, arms spread slightly as if balancing against the wind. “What kinda life s’that?”
Slingshot—back then, not even Slingshot yet, just a kid trying to figure out where he fit—had shrugged, uncertain. “I just never saw the point.”
Coil had turned then, walking backward along the rocks, grin sharp and challenging.
“That’s because you haven’t seen it with me.”
___
Seven years after Coil's unexplained absence, Slingshot doesn't give up on searching for him, but what is a person if not memories? This piece of work includes graphic depictions of medical malpractice, torture, self harm, suicide, and post traumatic episodes; read with discretion.

Bookmarker's Notes
There was still several years' time ahead before Zeke would be told he was to inherit the Beast. Before Mr. Ksaver would leave him and his body would be surrendered in its entirety to Marley and he would be remolded to swallow down his shame. If he and Mr. Ksaver could just have many more days like that while time remained, Zeke swore he would endure anything.

Bookmarker's Notes
His nose wasn’t broken, but it did have a thin drop of blood coming from one nostril. There was a faint bit of dirt on his face where his shoe had struck. He looked shocked, more shocked that Armin would dare defy him more so than at the pain itself. Then came a sound that should bring one joy, but it sounded like nails on a chalk board to Armin as Bertholdt began to laugh. Armin had never heard him laugh so hard at anything before; the best he had gotten in the past would be a few almost silent chuckles. Bertholdt clutched his own stomach as the foreign noises spilled out of him, and all Armin could do was lay underneath him, too terrified to move.

Bookmarker's Notes
I’m Ymir. Touching Historia and feeling her softness. Her dandelion fur. Her dark little moles. Island Devils screw members of the same sex on occasion. I wrote a report on this after I acquired her memories, and it was published in a psychological study on deviant sexual behaviors exhibited by Paradisians. Hence I believe that Braun acquired said behaviors during his time on the island. I have not reported this.
The hard rain of peace drums above me. Noisy, too much damn noise going on, everywhere. Never quiet enough. Never alone enough. God damn it. I flip away from the centerfold, her legs opened around the magazine’s seam. There’s a different one on the next page. She’s getting fucked. And I’m all sick inside.

Summary
In a world full of smells, bite marks, and too many days off caused by unexpected heats and ruts, Kenny Ackerman doesn’t give a fuck.
He has a mission (to raise and protect his nephew), and he pursues it stubbornly and by any means necessary (whether it is taking on two jobs at once through the temp agency he works for, or spending nearly half his life on suppressants so he isn’t distracted by idiotic primal urges). For the most part, things go well. Pretty well, actually. Playing the role of a beta can even be fun - apart from the moments when Kenny has to stand in for bloody idiots who get too wrapped up in the passion of their instincts and can’t be bothered to submit a work absence on time, and maybe some other less stupid reasons.
Then he accepts a job as a friendly and dedicated driver for Uri Reiss, an odd beta who, suspiciously enough, accepts Kenny wholeheartedly and without question, and who almost immediately manages to ruin Kenny’s ordinary and somewhat stable life. Just a little.
