Out of every possible outcome his death could lead to - waking up two years in the past was not at all what Harry had planned.
In all honesty, he hadn’t planned much past that to begin with, given he was about to die and that cancelled all his upcoming plans rather naturally.So, sorted into Slytherin, watching Draco Malfoy’s inner turmoil from the front seat the way his sixteen year old self could only dream about and under the concealment of a polyjuiced body would make for a fun year, right? Probably? Not really.
Because there is one little, insignificant catch - the real Harry Potter of the timeline is still, rightfully, there, and Harry has to navigate his life (death?) very, very carefully.But, carefully and Harry Potter had never quite seen eye to eye, so he does the next best thing - falls hopelessly in love with Draco Malfoy, of all people.

Summary
Anakin, in a fit of bravery uncharacteristic even for the Hero With No Fear, decides that he should tell the Council about his secret marriage, so that no Sith could ever use it against him to hurt the Jedi Order or the Republic.
It goes swimmingly--if you ignore the fact that Anakin definitely meant to say that he married Padmé in the wake of Geonosis, and yet the entire Jedi Council seems to think he married Obi-Wan.
And also if you ignore the fact that now no one believes them when they tell them flat out that Anakin is married to and in love with Padmé, not his old master.
And also if you also ignore the fact that Anakin doesn't know how to ignore the fact that being in love with Obi-Wan sort of makes a lot of sense. In fact, it feels like the only thing that's made sense in the last four years, come to think of it.

His Padawan is alleged to be the Chosen One, much as Obi-Wan never cared for the lofty title. He looks at Anakin and sees a boy; it’s a struggle to see beyond that most days.
Anakin becomes a man. He strides away from Obi-Wan, braid cut—headlong into battle and troops flanked by his side. Obi-Wan watches him go, expecting to see just that: a man.
A vermilion star stares back.

It is an impossible request, for L will either solve the case or die trying. But Light looks at him with the tender gaze of an old friend. He smiles an angelic smile, close-lipped and not too wide, one befitting the quick-witted, charming boy L had met at Toudai’s opening ceremony, and not a delusional man whose sense of justice has been warped by power.
“By all means,” Light lies gently, as he slides under the covers.

When they sleep together in L’s bed, for the first time, Light dreams of forest.
He feels its scent before he sees its canopy. It smells fresh, musty, of fertile soil and decaying leaves. He’s bathed in darkness. Rare shards of moonlight lay fractured over the velvety mat of pressed, thread-like greenery.
“Is it a rainforest?” L asks later. “I dream of that, too."
Light has no air in his lungs.
"It is like… a distant memory," L says. "The scent, the visuals, the feeling. It makes me… Comforted, I suppose. Somewhat… hungry from wonder. I want to see its expense. I want to feed on its fruits. I want to know what, who hides in its shadows."

As much as you're not Kira now, his ideals are in you, he's as much a part of who you are as the sweet, polite, charitable Light. And that part of you, the Kira in you, would never let anyone stand in his way."

On November 23rd, 2004, Light Yagami, age eighteen, pled guilty to over one hundred thousand counts of murder under the alias of Kira. His trial set unprecedented history as the first ever, and likely the last ever, to include non-human entities as key witnesses. Notably, the shinigami Ryuk agreed to testify on Light Yagami’s behalf for quote, “entertainment and a favor to a longtime friend”. Many officers of the law from across the globe have stated that it is a miracle he was even granted a trial in the first place, as there was overwhelming evidence of his crimes, and due to the scale of his trangressions, it was very likely that he would have been simply executed quietly. However, the court seemingly intended to make an example out of him, that even the great and elusive Kira could be captured.
