Technoblade sniffs, his huge head trying to poke itself between Wilbur's wings. Wilbur folds them tighter, just to be annoying, his brother letting out angry puffs of breath at being denied entry into the soft darkness. "I just want to hear what the runt has to say," he whines, his tail hitting at Wilbur's body like those over-excited puppies Wilbur sees outside their cage once in a while. "He has funny tales."
"I don't tell no tale!" The so-called runt whips his head out of Wilbur's wings, a golden-scaled head shining like a beacon between all those dark feathers. "I've met Death and her Angel! I'm in their Thunder!"

Wilbur and Technoblade are juvenile dragons, trapped inside a black market for dragons. Their cage only gets smaller when hunters come back from another hunt, forced to share it with a dragon who calls himself Tommy, and he swears he is part of Death's Thunder, a mysterious dragon with an even weirder entourage, nobody daring to even utter her name in fear of her materializing in front of their eyes. -

Summary
It's warm something that Dreams magic never was. The warmth leaks from the floor boards, filling the air with a sweet smell of spice. It was a far cry from the cold stinging magic that Dream gave of. But the boy, miraculously enough, found a way to cheat death, to resist Philza’s calling so much so that it stuns the God. And so, he finds himself...getting attached.

The owner of a small coffee shop began to see hard times as rising tension between the mob and the law leaves him with a battlefield right outside his front door. In the heat of this conflict, every other paying customer had disappeared, likely visiting a safer part of the city for a far inferior cup of coffee. Somehow six customers begin to support his entire business, three are the wealthiest men in the city and three are the officers charged with taking them down.

Instead of answering, he shot a question back. “Who are you?”
“Crown Princes Wilbur and Techno, heirs to the throne,” Wilbur answered. Techno watched as the boy’s facade fell, a confused and sad expression falling over his face as the words settled in. “And I think we deserve to know who’s claiming our palace as their own.”
“You– you’re, no– what?” The boy stumbled back a step, bringing his hands up to his chest to cradle them close. “Did they not tell you about me?” the boy asked, blue eyes glimmering in the light, crystalline tears beginning to gather around his lashes. “I’m Theseus.”
Or, Tommy is the forgotten royal bastard. He's spent his whole life wishing that his family will take him home. It just so happens that his cousins are visiting for the summer, and they have no idea who he is. He can only hope that he'll be remembered and be loved the way he deserves.

He knew, of course, he was signing himself up for torture and death by offering that trade, but that was okay.

She’s wearing a pale lilac dress, and her hair is a deep, rich brown, and she’s shielding her face from the sun with a large, brimmed hat; humming a song that has no words with a smile so clear in her voice that Tommy doesn’t feel as cautious about meeting a person for the first time, let alone a princess.
“Um, hello,” Tommy says, in the language that humans understand. But the princess doesn’t answer him. She doesn’t even turn around, almost as if she doesn’t notice that Tommy is there, standing awkwardly at her garden gate. Quietly, as not to startle her, Tommy enters, being very mindful of the plants she’s growing, making sure that his tail doesn’t swing out behind him either, and tries again.
Or: Tommy is a dragon looking for a princess in a tower. Instead, he finds a windmill and a humble farmer’s wife.

“Fucking—let—me—go!” he snarls, wrapping both hands around the length of the rope, painfully aware of the laughter ringing through the trees; the sounds of feet crashing through bracken; and Tommy—he doesn’t understand why the rope isn’t burning, why the frayed strands aren’t catching—it’s just a length of rope used for hunting, its not important enough to be enchanted, no one would waste coin enchanting rope to make it fireproof when it’s only use is to be part of a snare and nothing more.
The voices are getting louder and Tommy is running out of time.
There’s a trail of smoke where something just barely catches alight and Tommy doesn’t bother with a cry of victory—not when he’s not free, not when he’s still suspended up in the air, dangling by his foot, trying to burn through his shoe so that he can gain favour towards escape or free his knife—“Oh my god Techno, your snare caught a child!”

“I mean… yeah, let’s go with that in case this ends up on the news,” Siren shrugged, looking back at Tommy. “I kidnapped you, right?”
“Yeah, sure,” Tommy agreed, knowing that if they said he was kidnapped, it would keep people from getting suspicious of why he was seen in public with Siren. “Anyway, can I get the chicken nuggets happy meal, with a coke?”
or, how Tommy—who is not a hero, or a villain, or even a vigilante—saves the life of one of L'Manberg's most feared supervillains, and accidentally ends up becoming the resident doctor for every supervillain in town (and maybe gets a family along the way too).
