Summary
Luz Noceda and Harry Potter have done a lot together. Got stranded together on the Boiling Isles, made new friends and allies, discovered a forgotten way of magic, tested each other's limits (a lot), rebelled against the empire and stormed the Emperor's Castle, and most importantly of all, found something in each other they didn't know they'd been missing.
Both Luz and Harry finished that journey, got the portal door and the ability to return to the lives they created on the Isles whenever they wanted, but that doesn't mean things are over. Luz has to reconcile with the fact her life is spread across two realms now, and Harry will have to hold on to the light Luz has returned to him in the face of old friends, foes, and burnt bridges. That's not to mention what else is brewing in the background, both on the Boiling Isles and in the Wizarding World, uncaring of their tribulations.
With their return to Earth, the world has just opened up so much more. And that means there's plenty of things to cover.

Of course things never did quite turn out the way Merlin imagined them to be. In reality the moment when Arthur finally learns the truth is much more fitting for Merlin's life anyways, something that would only happen to him."

Taken from this prompt:
Merlin is so terrified when Arthur finds our about his magic, that he immediately assumes the worst. He tries running away from Arthur, but his magic won't let him escape because it senses Arthur won't actually hurt him.
He falls, maybe twists his ankle or something and tries slowly crawling away from Arthur, crying. When Arthur manhandles him into his arms, Merlin begs him to kill him quickly- just please, not to consign him to the pyre.Arthur may have been furious to discover his manservant has been lying to him this entire time, but the realisation that Merlin legitimately thinks that he will be cruel or let any harm come to him shatters his heart.
Cue huge amounts of angst, H/C and Arthur being tender and gentle towards a still frightened and timid Merlin who can barely begin to convince himself that this isn't a dream.
