Or where Pomni (Christine) wrote a "fictional" book about her time in the Amazing Digital Circus, and it got bigger than she ever expected - big enough to warrant a signing at her local bookstore/coffee shop. There, she meets Felix the barista, who knows the one detail she lied about in the book - a moment only Jax was present for. As two very regular and well-adjusted adults with no trauma, they will surely handle this reunion in a mature and normal way and will not immediately sleep together.

Those were the last words of Jax, the same words that had haunted Pomni for three weeks and showed no signs of leaving.
Ragatha told her it would get better.
And Ragatha was right; it seemed to be getting better for everyone else.
But Ragatha had never understood how Pomni felt about Jax and she never would.

Summary
Jax stumbles, feet slipping and sending him crashing back against Kinger in his attempt to stand. And then he feels himself being lowered. One of Kinger’s hands supporting the back of his head, the other placed flat against where his shoulder blades would be, Kinger kneels, laying Jax back down on the floor. Kinger’s hand gives way to a softness against Jax’s head - at this point, he’s too dazed to even have a reaction to figuring out Kinger’s propped his head in his lap, the old hack’s hand brushing his ears like locks of hair.
Jax stares up at the ceiling blankly, eyes wide as saucers and pupils little more than pinpricks.
“…Will you forget me when I die?”

Summary
Pomni "falls" in a lake made of stupid sauce on one of Caine's adventures. The problem with stupid sauce, is that no one has a filter on it. Another problem can arise when you suspect a mischievous rabbit to actually have nice tendencies, even when other people don't believe him. The biggest problem is that it can reveal animosities one has against the people who appear the nicest.
All Jax can do it watch while Pomni manages to embarrass him in front of everyone more than she embarrasses herself.

Summary
Jax finally did it. He apologized to everyone! But that's obviously not enough to change anything. Especially when the apology sounded so... disingenuously.
The fan-favorite asshole must be punished for his crimes. The circus members decided that the silent treatment is better than jail. Now Jax can't speak to others, or even hear them, at least until they forgive him. With time and effort, he can work his way through to earn their forgiveness and break the punishment's spell.
Well, in theory it sounds great, but it is Jax we are talking about. What do you mean he can't talk with others? What do you mean there is no audience for his snarky comments? What do you mean he has to befriend people to be able to speak with them again???
He actually wished they would've thrown him into a wacky jail instead.
