Something heavy and soft settled around Ranboo's shoulders. He exhaled, eyes still too heavy, too cold. But he was warming up. This weight, heavy, soft, was good. Good. Something solid and warm slipped into the empty space beside him. Half-conscious, he curled up against the warmth, breaths turning slow and even. He shivered again, a whining keen somewhere in the back of his throat. Some rumbling, monotone noise lilted through the air beside him, but he couldn't make sense of it. Within moments, he was asleep, exhaustion finally catching up to him now that he was warm, and safe, and tired, so, so tired. The last word on his mind was home.

Juggling their streams, personal life, and band while making sure none interract with each other is a struggle, but when one thing falls out of line, what happens when these lives merge more than he wanted to?

He works on straightening it out until he deemed it perfect, snickering at Techno’s scowl once he’s finished. Techno likes Phil’s laugh. He likes the way his face carries relaxed joy and unrestrained mirth. The chirps that slip in between laughs. How his wings flutter behind him and cause the falling leaves to swirl around him. “Smile, mate. You look miserable.”
“That’s because I am.”
Techno doesn't have a favorite flower, and Phil is determined to figure out what it is.

He stepped out of the confines of his small cabin and made his way to the field of potatoes that he had planted. He could’ve planted more vegetables, but he always found potatoes to be more worth his time. Besides, they sold pretty well at the market. The soil wasn’t as hard as he was expecting, but then again it wasn’t a super hot day. Techno already knew by then that it was going to be an easy day.
He counted, making sure that all the potatoes were in place. He knew they were, but it gave him something to do.
He paused.
He recounted.
He paused again.
There were a few less than what he had planted. Techno glared at the garden, trying to identify if perhaps a rabbit had hopped to his garden. He shook his head at that. There would be no way. The fences around kept rabbits out, and most rabbits didn’t bother digging under. At his scanning of his garden, he caught sight of some of his bags of potatoes had been knocked over. And stood on.
Someone had walked over the fence. And into his garden.

As Techno clutched the soil in his palms, moving it around to get all the nutrients into other sections of the farm, he noticed something. A sack of potatoes, just on the edge of the fence, seemed to have been knocked over. Which, in it of itself, should’ve been normal. Perhaps an animal knocked it over. But Techno saw that the bag seemed to have ripped.
Huffing to himself as he stood up to investigate, slowly, the thoughts formed through his mind. These tears were not made from claws. They were made from a knife. A dull knife, specifically, but that hardly mattered.
Techno counted the potatoes still within the bag.
He paused.
He recounted them.
He paused once more.
He recounted once more.
Only one conclusion came to his mind.
Someone stole from him.
This was unforgivable. -

Summary
Camping between destinations suits him just fine. Piglins are wanderers by nature, and he’s never been a fan of settling down in one place for too long. His campsites are preferably in dark, wooded areas that can swallow him whole and leave no trace. Far, far away from any civilization where no one can hear him scream and tear at the ground upon waking from nightmares.
Sure the eyes of his people watch him in the shadows and the voices are unbearable at night, but trauma-induced insomnia wasn’t all too bad. There were worse things such as socializing and being forced out of his comfort zone.
Techno has been traveling the road for years as a mercenary for hire, exiled from his home. He never thought a simple shopping trip would end up with saving a child from mob hunters.

Technoblade is captured while helping a resistance in the shadows and held prisoner by the village dictator. While he waits to be executed, he slowly gets to know Ranboo, the prisoner being held in the next cell.

Instead of Tommy being exiled for burning George's house, Ranboo is. He doesn't have a very good time.
