Summary
The machines have been working on a new project, and it's time for beta testing. Rewriting human dna, like code, to be more agent like. Unlocking these people like sleeper agents led to psychotic breaks and suicide, humans can be quite fragile. Attempting a different method, a small group of agents are tasked with finding and connecting with these people in the wild, earning their trust , and convincing them to work with/ for them. Each agent is assigned a different person to work on. Smith, unaware that he's basically training his replacement that will lead to his deletion, pours himself into this assignment in hopes of finally ridding himself of this place.
Matrix au - agents have a bit more personal agency, The Matrix is modeled after more modern times.

He reaches Neo's apartment looking for answers to why this might have happened to find that Neo is totally unaware of it, a plan begins to form: if love had been what changed Neo's path as the One, he had to make him fall in love with him tonight. And while some things never change, some things do, and that changes everything.

A sequel/soft reboot of the Matrix franchise, taking place after the Matrix Resurrections, but resetting the in Matrix time back to 1999. It will be a variation of the events of the first film, with twists and turns. And focus heavily on concepts of personal identity, the ideas of family and what that means beyond mere blood relations, as well as a decidedly anti-capitalistic message. Hope you enjoy.
