As a former superhero, George knows all too well how cruel and vicious villains are. They destroy buildings with no care for who may be trapped inside, they attack heroes unprovoked and feel no remorse for any civilian casualties caused by their actions.
George hates villains with all his heart, and that will never, ever change.
Until one night he gets rescued by the infamous villain Dream, that one encounter turning his entire life upside down.
Because if villains truly are evil, why did one save his life?
Or George and Sapnap are ex-heroes who realize through meeting Dream that maybe villains aren't all that bad.

Summary

His eyes are yellow, but George guesses that they are green seeing as yellow eyes weren’t really a thing. His lips were partly opened, with a slight glossy-ness from him having licked them a few seconds ago as he turned around.

Flowers were flowing out of the quaint shop; Roses of every colour, Hibiscus larger than he'd ever seen, Carnations that looked soft to the touch. "Hi," the barista speaks first, and Dream watches the way his lips form so prettily around the words, "what can I get for you?"
Dream blinks, and he doesn't think he's ever been this nervous in his life. He shoves his hands in the pocket of his hoodie, and then glances up at the menu that hangs overhead. He doesn't know the first thing about coffee, and he has absolutely no idea what to order.
"Uh," Dream stumbles over his thoughts, glancing over words like 'macchiato' and 'americano', things he knows absolutely nothing about, "I'm not sure, actually."
He feels like a complete idiot, and he hopes his face isn't embarrassingly red. He pries his eyes away from the dizzying menu, and he notices that the barista is smiling at him in a way that seems amused.
"Well, what type of coffee do you usually drink?" the barista asks, "I can make you anything you want."
Dream leans against the counter, and he's so distracted by how pretty the barista is that he hears himself admit, "I don't really like coffee, to be honest."
OR
Dream hates coffee, but he definitely doesn't hate the pretty brunette who works at his local coffee shop.

Until one day, Dream is forced to complete a subgoal but finds himself growing addicted to the pretty barista, who supplied his veins with all the energy he'd ever need, the fixation to last a lifetime and kept him up at late hours of the night with the only thought of seeing him in the morning.

Come the seventh year in this strange tradition he'd created for himself, he stumbles across the cute barista, George, who just so happens to be the one serving him his daily hot chocolate. Between the smooth golden accent dripping from his lips and the dark mocha eyes that sparkle under the Christmas lights so beautifully, George just has to be the stranger he'd treat this year.
