Zhanna Prohaskza Kiseleva was born in the USSR in 1981 under the leadership of Chairman Brezhnev. Chairman Brezhnev did a lot during his political career but the thing that affected Zhanna’s family the most was the registration of all witches and wizards in the Soviet Union.
It made it easier for the hardline kommunists to find them in an attempt to stage a coup against Chairman Gorbachev. Zhanna’s family said no. Zhanna’s father did not make it to England with the rest of them.
A few months of being in this new country with limited English was hard but then a British witch appeared with an invitation to Hogwarts a school of witchcraft and wizardry. Zhanna did not agree to this.

Summary
The basilisk Harry killed was the headmaster of a whole parallel school under the school which is all snakes and it really is parallel - there are snake equivalents of HP, Draco Malfoy, etc.
The difference is that they didn't let Voldemort happen because snakes aren't stupid enough to try to make horcruxes. Snake Tom Riddle is still alive having a great life and when he hears about human TMR he's like 'he did what now? okay I better go deal with him.'
Snake Harry's parents are still alive so there is a heartwarming scene when human HP gets to meet his snake parallel's parents.
The snakes are kind of upset that Harry killed their headmaster but they were more upset about the fact that he was being mind controlled insane, so it's all okay.-

Severus receives a mysterious letter from Gringotts. He's wary but goes anyway. Lily left him a memory that was a post mortem request that he'd help Harry, to save him from Dumbledore. She left her memories of why she didn't trust Albus any more. The goblins had been instructed to obtain a privacy/secrecy oath from Sev, or obliviate him. Snape swore the oath. Per
Lily's instructions, he recruited Remus Lupin to help him rescue Harry from the Dursleys, and to get Sirius Black out of Azkaban. They started getting assistance from an unknown source... The Flamels!!! They rescue a 9 year old Harry, Move into Potter Castle and along with Minerva start training Harry in everything. Harry finally gets to Hogwarts when he's 15, joined by a delayed Severus, Remus, and Sirius. Harry is very powerful, intelligent, and a quick study. A couple of major twists later and we get a mostly HEA!!!!
I enjoyed this one a lot!A
