Richard remains silent as he sticks his lower lip out, causing both alpha and omega to panic when the boy flops out onto the floor, kicking his legs out like a wild horse and hands repeatedly tugging on Bruce's trenchcoat as he whines loudly. “Moooommmmmy! He's holding onto my cereal! It's mine, it's mine, it's mine!”
Bruce would usually find this behavior endearing…but that's only when it's directed at himself or Alfred, not random strangers.
Which brings up one of the many behaviors and attitudes I forgot to add that Richard has: whining pup.
The omega swallows nervously, heat rushing to his ears and cheeks as he finally turns to look at–the Greek god sitting right next to him. Bruce blushes even more at the embarrassing realization that such a handsome stranger is witnessing his puppy's tantrum…gosh, the other is probably judging his parenting skills so hard right now. “I'm sorry.” His voice is uncharacteristically meek as he says it, ducking his head shyly when the large stranger continues to look at him. “He usually doesn't act this way, I promise.”

She excuses herself and drags her husband along with her, but not before Howard pats Jason on the shoulder, making him flinch. “It was lovely meeting you, Jason. We’ll do this again sometime.” And then they’re off, vanishing into the sea of old-money bodies.
Bruce braces himself for the inevitable Can we go get McDonald’s now speech right on cue, but it doesn’t come. Jason stays planted right by Bruce’s side. His eyes wander across the room, surveying the crowd, but he doesn’t loosen his death grip on Bruce’s hand.
“Did you have enough to eat?” Bruce asks, puzzled. Jason nods without a word. That has Bruce outright frowning. “Hey. Is everything all right?”
Jason fidgets in place and says, his voice shamefully meek, “Can we go home?”

The only consolation was that even Goldie had no idea what he was doing.
“You're holding him badly,” Jason told him.
"Have you ever held a baby in your arms?" Dick asked, panicked.
“No, but sure you don't have to hold them under your arms. You will hurt him. "
"I'm sorry, but I'm doing my best to ..."
The baby sobbed. Dick and Jason froze, terrified. The little boy rubbed his eyes with his fists, but in addition to the noise from before, he was keeping the tears to himself. It wasn't normal.
" What do we do?" he asked him in a panic. The brat wasn't going into a rage but he was sick and Jason hated when kids were sick.
"Um ..."
"Dickhead, say something!"

Those dreams suddenly came a little more into focus, when his idiot of a pimp accidentally tried to rent him to Bruce Wayne. Poor bastard could have never guessed he was the Batman himself. Heck, not even Jason figured that out, at first. And Batman had practically adopted him.
