It was a lesson Benny learned early on after the first few months of rubbing shoulders with the Strip's finest, somewhere between the second and fifth sewer overflow. The Mojave's lifeblood--an impeccable sign of luck--reduced to nothing more than a common nuisance for many a Strip resident to scoff and fret over. What a joke.
Too bad his Courier never got the memo.

Since then, Joshua Graham has tried to live righteously, and has done all that he can to try and protect what's left of the local Dead Horses and Sorrows to make up for what he's done in the past. But, his efforts to guide and protect them haven't helped much. No matter how hard he tries, he still feels lost. Many a-night, he'd pray to his Lord until the early hours of the morning, begging him for a little bit of guidance. For years, there was nothing but silence.
Then, God delivers one of his angels to Graham, who is relieved.
