Everyone knows the story of the Lion. A fearsome warrior, a diplomat, a humanitarian. The one who destroyed the Legion, who held fast at the Hoover Dam alongside the NCR. The one who swayed the world around them and created a new picture of Vegas after the death of House, who fell by the Lion’s hand.
But, no one knows the history of the Lion. Of their past, of the courier that once walked the wasteland before they earned their name. Of the job offer that sealed their fate.
And no one knows of the girl who woke up in Goodsprings, a new world around her. Changed, unaware of the fate that lay ahead of her, a life that would shake the southwest, shaping the Wasteland for decades to come.

It has been over two hundred years since the bombs fell.
It has been seven years since the burgeoning post-war state of the New California Republic (NCR) found the miracuously-restored city of Vegas, and signed a treaty with its enigmatic overseer, Mr. House.
It has been four years since the NCR fought and bled to defend Hoover Dam - an old-world trove of clean water and electricity - against the slave armies of Ceasar's Legion. It has also been four years since the Divide - a young community on the California State Route 127 - was destroyed in a cataclysm so drastic that the entire area was transformed into a storm-filled hell on Earth.
The year is 2281. The NCR spreads out from the west; the Legion pierces the region from their stronghold across the Colorado river; House maintains a steel grip on the city of New Vegas. After a long stalemate, war is once again brewing over the awesome power of Hoover Dam. Mysterious radio signals clog the airwaves. The Mojave Desert stands on a precipice.
And now, in the graveyard of a modest little frontier town, a package courier has just been shot in the head and left for dead by a man in a checkered coat.

Summary

Lucia will rage across the Mojave to find the son-of-a-bitch who shot her and kidnapped her sister. Luz manages to find a friend in the strange wastelander outlaw, nicknamed the Owl Lady. All the while, the NCR, the Legion, and the mysterious Mr. House vie for control of the Mojave.
The wasteland may look like chaos, but there's always somebody behind the wheel...

Or a better question, how does a man with a brain filled with brass and a weird Robot who sputters about some "JcJenson" play a role in this land of blood stained sand?
It's a question that just kicks ya in the head.

He always assumed that what happened to him at the first battle of Hoover Dam was divine punishment, for all the sins he'd committed in the name of someone who was once a dear friend. Since then, Joshua Graham has tried to live righteously, and has done all that he can to try and protect what's left of the local Dead Horses and Sorrows to make up for what he's done in the past. But, his efforts to guide and protect them haven't helped much. No matter how hard he tries, he still feels lost. Many a-night, he'd pray to his Lord until the early hours of the morning, begging him for a little bit of guidance. For years, there was nothing but silence.
Then, God delivers one of his angels to Graham, who is relieved.
