"Wow, this is incredibly cool and memorable!" said little Lucy, who was also standing nearby and staring up a statue of the Vault Dweller who had once saved mankind from the Master's super mutant army. "I can't wait to live here permanently and be a gay communist just like Mommy and this creepy lady! I'm sure I'll remember this forever!"
"Yes," said Norman, who was also there, his disproportionately large head bulging with accumulated knowledge. "It's so good knowing that society is able to learn from the mistakes of the past and rebuild towards a better future, and that we are not forever doomed to live in a world of ashes, ruled by barbarity and human greed in the ever-present shadow of a lost age."

Since then, Joshua Graham has tried to live righteously, and has done all that he can to try and protect what's left of the local Dead Horses and Sorrows to make up for what he's done in the past. But, his efforts to guide and protect them haven't helped much. No matter how hard he tries, he still feels lost. Many a-night, he'd pray to his Lord until the early hours of the morning, begging him for a little bit of guidance. For years, there was nothing but silence.
