Summary
The lodgers make a machine that is supposed to let them time travel. It malfunctions and sorta kinda explodes in Jekyll’s face. When the smoke cleared it was obvious that something was wrong, he was about 15 years younger! He also has no idea where he is or who these people are. Now the lodgers have to try and fix the machine and put Jekyll back to normal.
This takes place after the exhibition but the entire part where Jekyll turned into Hyde in his sleep and then ran around town changing back and forth never happened and Jekyll and Lanyon lived their days happy and in love (Also no one knows about him being Hyde still).

In this world (set in a future-ish 1930s-1950s) there are these creatures called Animalia or more commonly called 'Toons' as well as humans. They are humanoid creatures that can turn into animal forms called 'Tierforms' and can be identified by their animal characteristics in human form, for instance animal ears and tail. They usually have immense durability and don't age like humans. This story is about the beginnings of the Looney Tunes Cartoons and the stories of the actors (Toons) behind them. Because this is set in the 1930s-1950s, there will be mentions and depictions of (BUT NOT LIMITED TO) racial discrimination/humiliation, 'treatment' of LGBQ+/homophobia, mental illness, sexism, generational curses/traumas, and other depressing subjects. Please do not be offended as I mean nothing hateful towards anyone. Anyway, I doubt you'll enjoy this, but this is an incredibly depressing and somewhat uplifting 'collection' of fanfics I've had in my head since I was a little kid. It has so much love and research from the actual history of these characters. BE WARY AS THERE ARE A LOT OF TRIGGERS. Also, these stories go back and forth between different years but they are separated by chapters/character stories.

My soul sister Voodoosgirl and I began toying around with the idea for a dark and creepy Stucky fic collaboration back in 2022, and by "collaboration" I mean Voodoosgirl is handling the actual writing of the fic (the most difficult part, imo) while my contribution is the cover art. Then, of course, Real Life happened and the project was placed on hold indefinitely, but I was struck by the mood to post something to AO3 for Halloween this year. It was a bit of a last-minute impulse, so I didn't have time to create a new sketch, and the only artwork I already had on file that would be appropriate for the occasion was this piece depicting Steve Rogers with a big black crow. Unfortunately, I can't divulge further details since any hints would ruin the fic that will eventually be posted by Voodoosgirl. So, with my sister's blessing, I present the cover art for The Curse.
