Snowgrave is finished. Kris is finally, although temporarily, outside of the Soul's control. With their fleeting freedom and the guilt that shouldn't even be theirs weighing on their shoulders, Kris doesn't know where to go that doesn't really feel... wrong. Not after what happened. What they saw. What Noelle did under "their" influence. They couldn't go back home, and they definitely shouldn't go to Noelle. So if not there, then where?

It was nearly impossible to place what led Kris to here and Noelle to there, a foreign soul in their chest and an iciness strangling Noelle. They could barely trace where their friendship fell flat, let alone when they became strangers for the first time in their lives.
It all slipped through their fingers like water running from a tap. It had run dry, and Kris felt like it would never, ever come back-- just like Dess.

The festival is coming soon, Susie at first pushed off how weird Kris was thinking it was just how humans acted. But now she's starting to get suspicious of their behavior. Noelle's personality has begun to shift as well after she went to a dark world. She's going to get to the bottom of this, and she's going to find out why two of her friends are acting so weird.
(I'm too impatient for chapter 5 to come out so I'm making my own, this is also going into my own ending of Deltarune weird route cuz why not. Oh yeah I'm hella busy with high school and stuff like that so I won't be able to upload often cuz of that.)

How would she even jump it? She looks to the side, where the fence blends in with the trees. It looks shorter over there, so maybe that's where she'd go from. But it'd be pretty loud, she thinks. She looks back at the main entrance.
She lightly puts her hand at the fence.

Quietly, impossibly, it was pushed outwards. The door is open.
She flinches backwards. What the fuck? She debates running off. No one'd get the right idea if they saw her like this.
But she's frozen.
Since can see Noelle outside, gazing out to the stars. Noelle's awake.
Something's stopping Susie from being happy. She thinks it's herself. It might be the world.

Summary
After 2 awful days, Kris reaches a breaking point with the soul and doesn’t know what to do anymore, luckily, Susie is here to help. Takes place in ch4 weird route.
Beginning notes: back again! This time with a Kris oneshot. Just like the Susie oneshot, this one takes place towards the end of ch4. But unlike the Susie oneshot, this specifically is taking place in a Weird Route, meaning while some bits from parts of the Susie oneshot may be implied to be the same (Kris throwing the rock in frustration), ultimately this is unrelated to that fic and takes place in the alternate route. Due to the fact we have no idea where weird Route will go, the ends of this fic will likely NOT match up with what Toby Fox has in mind for Deltarune ch5, this is instead just me wanting to write a bit more of a ‘what if’, a what if Kris couldn’t take it anymore, what if Susie finds out about the soul, and what if Kris is finally able to tell someone what’s actually going on.Series
