This is a post dragon age inquisition story, from what I feel happened while the inquisition was looking for Solas.
Chained and bloody, Elissa woke with no memory and strange markings that enables her to perform magical interactions. Her only clue is a journal she found indicating the Inquisition and the Dreadwolf. In her search for her memory and why the Dreadwolf seemed interested in her she found some strange companions along the road, claiming that they had once been friends with this Dreadwolf. She soon discovers that she might have found herself in a much larger and much darker path to the truth.

Summary
This is a sort of retelling of the events of DAI with a focus on the Lavellan/Solas relationship. I aim to fill in some of the gaps, stuff that happened off screen, alluded at or mentioned. Or things I wish were shown. Example: by the time of Halamshiral, Solas casually touches Lavellan's back, both acting with a sense of familiarity. Implying, by then, their relationship has advanced to a place they are comfortable with casual touches. I want to explore these in between bits that got us there.
My story starts 3 weeks before the events of the Conclave and I intend to take it further after canon. (Post-Trespasser, possibly Veilguard) Canon Divergence will happen at some point. But I will do my best to keep canon compliant with most things until then. Even after, I will strive to be canon compliant with the lore, established characters and places. There will be a lot of Dalish and Elvhen stuff. And OC’s for Dalish clan members.
This will be in alternating POVs from Lavellan and Solas. Possibly others if necessary.

Essentially, my wish fulfillment for Cullen to end up with a Qunari mage who makes him work for it. Will be finished in the next few days and posted as two gigantic chapters.
Edit: I lied— it’s going to be four parts. I intended to end at Halamshiral, but I felt compelled to see it through. Hope y’all enjoy.

Malcolm and Leandra Hawke loved each other dearly and didn’t know when to quit.
Their oldest, Freya, is tired of being the reasonable one. The one trying to hold the family together whilst cracking jokes to remind everyone it’s not that serious.
It is that serious for Aspen. Kirkwall is no joke for a mage. Especially when your twin brother finds trouble, and Templars, around every corner. Aspen and Lennox Hawke came into the world together. They might very well take each other out of it again - and every one agrees it would be Nox’s fault.
And then there’s the other twins - or at least, the one that survived the flight from Lothering.
