Summary
When Data creates a sensory oasis for the one he loves, he believes it’s the perfect evening: marble temples, gentle touch, ambient devotion. But you have a surprise of your own—one that begins with summer rain and ends in shared laughter, muddy footprints, and a kiss born of starlight and trust.

Summary
This story may seem long, but it's really in three parts - each with its own challenges and featured 'bad guy'!
Part I: Data wanted emotions his whole life, but now he has them can his programming adapt to handle the strain, or has he become a liability to Starfleet and his friends? Picard, Troi and Riker aim to find out during a horseback riding adventure that goes terribly awry. Why would Orion and Nausicaan raiders target an ancient stairway leading nowhere? What mysteries lurk in the ruins of Nineveh IV?
Part II: Data faces the challenges of social interaction on a hostile desert world. With a chameleon spy on the prowl, can Data keep his promises to the kids he rescued while pursuing the mystery of the Stairway...and, perhaps, love?
Part III: Flung into the future by an ancient Preserver tunnel, Data discovers a terrible conspiracy. The alliances that forged the UFP are breaking down, while a familiar enemy schemes to shift the balance of power. Working undercover with a handpicked crew, can Data make a difference? Will law and duty preclude him from reaching his impossible dream?
Part III is in progress. Your comments and opinions are welcome and much appreciated! Please Review! :)

Summary
Geordi leaned in close to the android, his voice rough and low but steady with concern.
"Data," he murmured, fingers still gently splayed across the open cavity of Data’s chest, "do you... understand what’s happening here?"
Data’s golden eyes fluttered open, glazed with sensation but attentive, listening and trusting.
"I am... experiencing intense pleasure responses," Data said, his voice vibrating with barely contained shudders. "Originating from tactile and emotional stimulus… from your touch."

Summary
Data had always been a curious case to Deanna. How do you counsel someone as an empath and therapist, when they don’t feel (or at least believe they don’t feel) any emotions?
Now the Enterprise-D is gone, and Data has installed his emotion chip. On their way back to the nearest starbase aboard the U.S.S. Farragut, Data has to come to terms with a loss from the past that now feels as fresh as the day it occurred. Deanna is there to help him through it.

Summary
Data's incapability to feel has always found common ground with his friend Geordi's incapability to express himself.
With the help of the Chief Engineer, Data began research on Lore's former emotion chip, unfortunate events, however, led to Data having to insert the chip prematurely. Further research became a dangerous ride for the men with no sight. The men whose hearts beat in their brains. -

“I believe that my primary power module ceased its circulatory maintenance routine for a brief moment.
You could say that.. ‘My heart just skipped a beat’”. He breathed.Geordi chuckled, a warm, tender sound that made Data wish to be nowhere else in the entire universe.
He felt a sudden urge to run. Not for any particular reason. Just jump away from the ramp and run.
Feel the thrill, his own, throbbing pulse, the wind against his bioplastic skin.
Awakening the newly discovered sensitivity beneath it.
And so he did.~
The Enterprise crew has a rendevouz with a scottish Admiral on Earth. Geordi sees it as the perfect opportunity to give Data the experience of feeling truly human.

Summary
Spot continues to squirm, until she succeeds in freeing herself from her owner’s grasp. Data stares at the place in his arms where she used to be, and feels strangely hollow inside. Briefly, he wonders if the emotion chip is malfunctioning, because he is aware of his sadness and discomfort and anger and fear, but in a distant sort of way, as if he is viewing them through gauze. He flexes his fingers against the air. He is exhausted, and he wants to go to bed, but his bed is rubble and his home is rubble and he feels like rubble, too, like a loose collection of broken pieces that will fall apart at the slightest touch.

“He made us to be alive. To be sentient. He treated us like sons. When it was convenient. Only when it was convenient. I am not less perfect than Lore-and Lore was not less perfect than me. But I am here, and he is dead, because he was not given a chance to be anything but what he became.”

[originally written in Aug. 2018]
--
It was still strange to see Data smiling. After working with someone like him for years and becoming... for lack of a better term, used to his emotionless sensibilities, having that universal constant removed was strange for the crew.It was strange to Geordi.
Strange and good.

Summary
Data decides that it's finally time to test the repaired emotion chip. He expected many things--to finally experience disgust and delight, to express his platonic affection for his dear friend Geordi, and to truly be able to identify what made the Enterprise his home.
What he wasn't expecting was to discover overwhelming romantic feelings for Commander William T. Riker. -

Summary
“How fascinating,” murmured Data, through the mouths of the gathered Borg drones. “I do not think this was supposed to happen.”
“Data.” Jean-Luc’s voice was desperate, and he had to force himself to remain still and not move forward again, trying to reach his friend. “Data, if you’re in there—if you somehow have control over the Borg, stop them. Do anything you can to make them go back, or slow down, so that we can figure out a way to get rid of them,” he demanded. “Data, listen to me. I don’t know what they’ve done to you, but if you can do something—”
The closest Borg drone’s head snapped up, locking eyes with Jean-Luc, and when Data spoke next, it was only in one voice. “I am sorry, Captain,” he said, sounding downright patronising. “I do not take orders from you anymore.”
--
During First Contact, Data is assimilated by the Borg, with unexpected consequences, and Geordi is forced face-to-face with a purely evil version of his best friend.
