Some of Blooms earliest memories were of begrudgingly watching the Hunger Games each year. When they were old enough for their name to be in the Reaping, she made a show of acting upset when their name wasn’t pulled from the large glass bowl and “accidentally” volunteering a second too late. The truth was, that although Bloom was trained for the Games, even showing a talent with knives, they were absolutely, completely, indifferent.
Bloom noticed that Yells had finally continued their ridiculously drawn out explanation, “—the previous Victors will be choosing which two tributes will go into the arena.”
