The spirit led the way as Larry’s mind struggled to come up with a reason as to why they were stopping here, what significance this held. The spirit eventually lands his vessel on a particularly large meteor, right in front of a crashed, deserted ship. Fear immediately takes hold of Larry’s chest as he feels a sort of darkness wash over him, radiating from the grayish mass before them."

Summary
"The Awful Orloffs" tells the story of the descendants of Count Feodor Orloff, one of the villains from John R. Carling's 1902 novel The Shadow of the Czar. The resulting tale spans across many fictional universes, full of Caribbean zombies, Texan hand-cultists, atomic supermen, ancient vampires, and much, much more. This series also includes my short stories, "The Curse of Orlac," from Tales of the Shadowmen Vol. 14: Coup de Grace (Dec. 2017), and "A Bug's Life," from Tales of the Shadowmen Vol. 15: Trompe L'Oeil, by Black Coat Press.
