Summary
A mysterious warrior comes to the aid of Thorin Oakenshield and his Company when they are surrounded by their mortal enemy, but can the soon-to-be King put aside his grievances with the past to let the future unfold for the Dwarven Kingdom, or will he let the illness that hangs over his family consume him as well?
With the bravery of a humble miner from the Blue Mountains and the Eossimarians at their disposal, they might just be able to pull it off; but old flames, newfound families and unrequited loves pose many problems along the way for the Company.
Certain characters mentioned belong to J.R.R. Tolkien, while others belong to me.

«Сильмариллион» настаивает на том, что все гномы происходят от семерых гномов, которых создал Аулэ, — от семерых Праотцов Гномов... Семеро Праотцов? Правда? И ни единой Праматери? Автора так и подмывало растолковать эту нелепость. Вдумчиво и глубоко научно.

Summary
Carrot is named King. Of the Dwarfs.
He doesn't want to be king. His nomination is really just a nasty case of Ambition and Politics on the part of some upstart dwarfs. Still, he needs to be very careful how he handles this. Accepting the throne means war. Rejecting...probably also means war.
Help comes from an unexpected source when Cheery Littlebottom offers up a unique proposal. If these ambitious dwarfs want a king, then maybe they should be forced to accept a queen, as well.
~
"No, I've beat around the bush enough, I'm just going to come out and say it. You should accept the coronation, and at the same time announce that you are happy to announce a political union with the Coal Hills Mine, and you are marrying the daughter of their respected engineer, Jolly Littlebottom. Which is, um, me."
Carrot ran through that plan a few times, before he was confident he got the relevant details. "Marry…you?"

Cleverly hidden within Erebor was a ring of power tainted with a foul aura. Bound and disguised, the ring remained hidden for many years. Summary
Frai has never trusted elves or men – and she has never doubted that distrust before. But after a family friend sought to commit treason – and betrayed her trust to do so – she finds all her convictions overturned. Reeling in the aftermath, she wanders out in search of solitude and finds someone else instead.
At first, she does not know what to think of her new friendship with Eadwulf, a young man from Rohan stationed in the Hornburg. Despite all her ingrained distrust, she finds herself opening up to him more and more as their friendship deepens. But when a threat arises from neighboring Dunland, leaving Frai in a locked-down Aglarond and Eadwulf on the front lines in the Hornburg, she realizes that her feelings run much deeper than she ever imagined.

Summary
If asked, Bella Baggins would quite firmly inform you that she had never been so content, that she was perfectly capable of keeping up with her work, and that you should butter your own biscuits, thank you very much. But if you asked again. . . the look in her eye would tell you of a young faunt who had dreamed of elves and adventure, who was now a woman with responsibilities and respectability. She would not answer a second time.
Few would question the reign of King Thorin II, who had led the dwarves of Erebor through the lands of Men to the Blue Hills. His work was for his people, always--no matter how much his sister and cousins may have wished it otherwise. The time to reclaim his mountain had come, and all he needed was a burglar, not some fussy hobbit.
But Gandalf the Grey does not take no for an answer, nor does Yavanna; so the quest will go on, no matter what the wish of Hobbit or Dwarf.Series

Summary
The scholars, historians, and budding scientists of Middle-Earth literally froth at the mouth trying to determine just where new dwarfs come from in a population that seems to be entirely male. Do they spring from holes in the ground? Do they carve them out of stones? Do they have some disgusting and painful sounding process where the men give birth?
The dwarves aren't talking... They're too busy laughing their butts off over the situation!

Summary
The Company of Thorin Oakenshield survives the Battle of Five Armies, but not without a cost. Thorin lies unconscious, Fíli is struggling with his injuries and the burden of playing Regent, and Ori may have taken on more than he can handle, while others are all dealing with their own pains and fears and secrets. It's not only dwarves in the mountain, of course, not after the battles they have fought, and Bilbo and Tauriel are struggling to find their place in the middle of dwarves with all their secrets and traditions and surprises.
It might seem overly important in the moment to find out who wears a particular braid or what gender they happen to be, yet in the end only a few things remain. As long as you know your family, your love, and your king, everything else will sort itself out.
If it seems like you might be the king... well. Then there may be another thing or two you need to concern yourself with.

Summary
Third in a few one-shots/short stories that I have written about how Billa Baggins adjusts to life post-quest and the struggles that the Company of Thorin Oakenshield face as they try to understand Hobbit customs (and teach Dwarrow traditions).
Several months after "On Courses," Billa and Thorin are settling into married life—though it is not without its ups and downs with their busy schedules. Billa is also about to realize her education in terms of Dwarrow culture is quite lacking when it comes to one topic: children. When a Dwarrowdam is pregnant, she always wears a shawl with a specific pattern and symbol on it to make sure others know she is pregnant. Moreover, expecting Dwarrowdams are worshipped—Dwarrow will do anything for them and are even more overprotective due to low birth rates. We all know; however that children are far from rare in the Shire—and a shawl is a shawl, isn't it?

Summary
When Gimli is but a child, he gets lost in the mines of Ered Luin. It is dark, and it is cold, and he is alone.
He will never recover.
With his shaking hands and his Stonefear Gimli cannot perform as well as he wished, as a Dwarf. He can't go on a Quest to reclaim Erebor. He can't go on a Quest to reclaim Khazad-dûm.
He can, however, force his way into the Quest to save all of Middle-Earth.
There he meets Legolas, who reminds him too much of his friend Ori, in many ways.

Summary
Second in a few one-shots/short stories that I have written about how Billa Baggins adjusts to life post-quest and the struggles that the Company of Thorin Oakenshield face as they try to understand Hobbit customs (and teach Dwarrow traditions).
Dwarrow are incredibly secretive when it comes to their culture, and especially their Dwarrowdams. What few outsiders know is that part of their infertility issues stems from Dwarrowdams only getting their period once or twice a year—and it’s an over the top painful thing. So, in Dwarrow law, when a Dwarrowdam has her courses, they can get away with pretty much anything but murder, aren’t expected to do anything, and any Dwarrow around them trip over themselves to do their bidding—lest they face their Dwarrowdam's wrath. For Hobbits, your courses are monthly, and Billa is quite confused why the Company is tip-toeing around her.

Summary
My (continued) take on the MGiME trope.
I've recreated my account and am continuing my orphaned pics. Full note in Chapter one.
Orla is reincarnated into the body of a young dam, and retains all her knowledge of the stories. But, she doesn't speak the language. She has great difficulty with dwarves Khuzdul, despite now being a dwarf, but picks up Inglishmek fairly easily.
Bifur finds this lost girl, and takes her in, claiming her as his daughter and helps her to learn to communicate again.
She tries to use her knowledge to help her new people, and change the course of the future.
Now if she could only figure out what Bofur meant when he kept trying to give her things she didn't need with money she knew they didn't have.

Summary

Summary
(The third of my orphaned works to be continued. Explanation in Chapter One.)
The dwarves discuss the quickly encroaching Winter, and its predicted severity. Bilbo immediately steps in to ration and handle the food distribution for those in the mountain.
Pleased that Bilbo is becoming more involved with the comings and goings of the mountain he will be calling home, the dwarves don't question his passion for the subject, because after all, Hobbits and food just go together, don't they?
AKA, the one where the Dwarves don't know the story of the Fell Winter.

Summary
Growing up in Ered Luin is a lot tougher than you'd think for two young princes. Bullies think nothing of rank and will do anything to tarnish the Hallowed name of Durin. Through all of this, Fili and Kili grow closer as brothers, and then a bit more.
