WILL EDITDracula isn’t fond of human, not anymore. But as he’s visiting an old buddy of his, he finds she has a human friend and they’re close. He’s rightfully weary of this human, Zinnia Thatcher. But he also notices how strange this human is.
She’s strangely interested in vampires, borderline living with Lazarus Nerian. She’s an outcast to the villages, and not normal by social means either.
Zinnia has her own appearance, gender, story and whatnot but you as readers can also kinda put ur self in her shoes so it’s like a character/YN. Also, switching perspectives.

Then he teleports to the top of the stairs, vanishing in a cloud of mist.
Now Dracula is able to see her with his own eyes, close enough to hear her heartbeat. Smell her scent. Her gaze meet his from across the lobby, brave and fearless and impossibly blue.
His mouth drops open in disbelief, eyes as wide as saucers.
She's too far away to see, too far away to notice how his breath hitches, the way his eyes unfocus from their sockets. Too far away... So long...

Despite her last, desperate promise- "I will love you for all eternity"- her love for the Count shifts and diminishes over time and over many lifetimes as he falls deeper and deeper into darkness. It comes to a head when he attempts to reunite with his dead lover and she learns what a monster really can be.
This is what happens when you offer your heart to an immortal creature.
