But what happens when you have a chronically depressed cryptid, a mentally deranged cannibal, a coldhearted serial killer… and plop a young girl, with attachment issues, between them? Will she alone be able to form a bond with them no one else can?

I've wanted to add this as a bookmark for so long, but kept on forgetting to do so. So now, I will give my thoughts on it here.
To say that I loved this fic to no end is a drastic understatement, I feel like if I were to list off every possible word in every language to best describe this fic, I would still end up disrespecting it's nature. And for a first fanfiction, that in itself is an achievement to be proud of.
This fanfiction (or I guess it's classed as an AU), no matter how well I knew the outcome on first read, still threw me for a loop at places I least expected. Despite everything being hinted in the chapter names, I still end up with my head in my hands wondering what the hell I just read.
Not only that, but I have also been introduced to many unused practices that I wouldn't have even thought to try out otherwise.
And this isn't just in the main story, but even the aftermath chapters as well. Let me tell you, if I had to count the litres of tears of joy and fear I felt in the 5 aftermath chapters, you could probably fill a swimming pool with it. My heart was thumping the entire time for these characters, especially in the finale (I won't say why, but expect to cry if you haven't read it).
I will never, ever, be able to say this enough to you. This is probably the best thing I've ever seen since base FPE, and it never gets old no matter how many times I reread it.

Claire-after escaping her neglectful orphanage, seeks out a new life in the forest, unaware that the woods are hazardous with ferocious demons. However, not all demons that come into contact are savages. She becomes great friends with demons that accept her for who she is, with zero expectations. Unfortunately, the world and society made it clear they despise demonkind. While the fifteen-year-old tries to survive the seemingly impossible and work through the world's discrimination against demons, she discovers her psychic mind, her sixth sense, and her family's lengthy history. Claire's hiding this ability from her friends and others doesn't work out too well due to her conflicts and extreme emotional turmoil.

Normally, Edward and his fellow bullies would be preparing some crazy pranks or something like that, but Oliver unironically wants to go with his eldritch girlfriend Alice and Zip called in sick from a bad flu... Was Edward really gonna risk the embarrassment of going to Prom completely alone all for the risk of bullying people?
... Maybe he could convince someone else to tag along with him. This certainly won't backfire and shoot him right in the heart.
