After Ashfur's attacks leave the clans desolated and the leaders prepare to change the warrior code, StarClan decides to send back several cats to stop Ashfur from ever gaining the power he found. Spotfur, Stemleaf, Bristlefrost, Rootspring, Shadowsight, Breezepelt, and Heathertail must work together to beat the dark warrior once and for all. But the Dark Forest is preparing to rise and the future warriors will not be able to go home.
