Friends can sustain him a year, and then she'll leave and he'll be here but at least they'll be friends. Right where she left him and he'll turn dusty with disuse, but he won't scare her off with the pure want that cracked his heart the moment he met her, a 28-year-old intern that wore her own heart on her sleeve and existed as Robby's worst nightmare.
