Prince Theseus has known he was to be the Crown Prince since he was 8 years old. Prince Wilbur wanted to pursue music, and their father wholeheartedly agreed.
That's when he had started prepatations for the role, and was finally was deemed ready for the title at age 13. He's set to inherit the kingdom when he turns 20, and he he's in charge of the biggest event of the year; the Winter Festival.
Which, it's fine. He doesn't have the time to dwell over little things, he has a country to run, festival to plan, etc. And it doesn't matter that his father barely even looks at him because he's doing important things, they both are. The king is... leaving a 17 year old to run his nation and Theseus is... the one running that nation-
But it's fine! It's all fine and dandy, he can handle it!
And then-
Then his father brings a commoner into the palace. But that's fine! Except he somehow earned all the love from Theseus' brother and father that he should've gotten.
And he's drowning, his walls are crumbling, everything is fine!

But it's really not and it all comes to fruition at the festival when he finds people who actually care. -

He scans his body, looking up and down over and over again just to be sure that there was nothing fatal.
When he deemed it good, he finally looked up to Temptation’s face and-
Tommy’s eyes widen more and more the longer he stares at the hero's face. He had expected to find a blue-ish black mask adorning his face not-
Not the man that was laying before him.
