All is quiet at the Iceberg Lounge when Ed pays a visit while planning his latest scheme. Oswald warns him against getting into too much trouble, but he would do anything to protect Ed. After all these years he is still in love with the man after all. When Ed's scheme goes wrong, he returns to Oswald's side to hide out and maybe, just maybe, he'll admit his feelings for his friend to both himself and the other.

“I’ve been busy.” Ed continued, looking pleased with himself.
“And what exactly have you been busy with?” Oswald inquired.
“Now Oswald, that’d ruin the surprise wouldn’t it?”
“Just don’t bring your schemes to my door. This is still supposed to be a reputable business.”
Ed laughed at that, not one of his showy Riddler laughs, a proper one, coming truly from the fact he found Oswald entertaining. Oh, how the sound melted his heart and made his insides flutter.

Then the 2 boys openly flirt, actually kiss, and are CLEARLY (somehow) using time-travel to "secretly" date?! Gothamites and New Yorkers fall in love with their city's Star-Crossed Soulmates! Let it never be said that Gotham and New York won't protect their own.
