My extrapolated story from I'm building off flamingpuddings post on Tumblr. What if Selina Kyle was Danny bio mom. That she had with Batman. And she put him up for adoption to her distance relatives the fentons. I've also taken the liberty to set the phantom time line up a few years earlier. Danny had his accident in Jr high. At 11 in 6th grade. He meets Selina at not yet 14 teen. A ton of DC characters will make appearances eventually. But it's going to focus heavily on Gotham based characters first. And slowly sprinkle in more phantom characters and other dc characters from all media forms messed together.
also to note a lot of characters will be introduced. a lot of relationships will be mentioned. most of the relationships are not monogamous or uncomplicated. if you are looking for a single ship, not the best fic. villains are not just villains and heroes are not just heroes. it's messy in here with tones of grey. Danny is the main focus of the story. with an ever growing meet and great format, with plot there in the background and slow going.

As if on cue, a wave of abrupt nausea hits Maps like a truck as they struggle to focus on the figures walking up to the podium, the world spinning back and forth on a pendulum.
Maps knew exactly where they were right now. How could they not? They've relived this moment more times than they could count. Maps knew what was coming next.
All they could do was play their part. It ended quicker that way.

Gotham's dark gloomy sky perfectly represented the feeling of every night the Waynes and other affluent families would have as they gaze into the streets, not a bright shining star to be seen, just some visible sitting there from far away watching as chaos unfolded beneath with a few strays shooting from above. It perfectly represented the unrelenting clash of classes that was apparent in a divided Gotham City that was slowly falling further into darkness as no one dared to help

Summary
Ever since her first real team up with Batman, Maps has been going on her own solo Robin adventures as a means of training herself. Without years of formal combat training, she finds herself frequently coming back to the academy in a couple cuts and bruises. No biggie, right?
Maps is way over her head, and doesn't have any intention of stopping despite Katherine's constant pleas to stop going on patrol and getting hurt. Katherine is left wondering how many more patrols it’ll take before Maps understands just how dangerous her nightly expeditions are.
Unfortunately for her, she'll have the answer to that very soon.
