Summary
An alternate universe where Goro Akechi is taken in by the Dojima family during the events of Persona 4 and given a fresh start. Little by little, he begins to open up to others, but the walls he's built around himself remain firm and resolute, and trust is hard for one so bitter and broken.

At the stroke of midnight, the TV flashed to life with the campiest scene Yu had ever seen in his entire life.
“Hey hey hey! Do you hear that? That’s the sound of the waves!” The brunette winked at the camera, bearing a large toothy grin.
“C’mon and stop by to watch Yosuke Hanamura’s very own “Surf Surf Crazy Beach”!! Have some fun in the sun with some dudes and dudette’s, and chillax with some banger music! Oh! The wave’s coming back. Well, see ya!” He watched as the familiar face walked off towards the beach and the screen flickered back to its usual static.
The phone in his pocket started to ring urgently as soon as the program was off.
“H-hey, did you seriously just see what was on TV?! It really was…!” Chie sounded panicked, and Yu could only nod, even though she couldn’t see it.
“It was undeniably Yosuke.”
Yosuke was trapped in the TV world as they thought, and they needed to go help him.

Yosuke was the only one in the group who was alone except for...Yu, of course. He didn't like his partner, not like that at all, but just in a completely platonic, bro-type way. Sure, they texted every day, called each other late at night almost every day, and sent pictures to each other as if they were dating. But they weren't, Yosuke would never allow these moments to grow anymore than they should.
But, Yu was back in small-town Inaba for summer break and the summer heat is affecting Yosuke in more ways than one.
Note: The first chapter will not have anything explicit, but the second chapter will be a bit more spicy :3.

Archy is a master of description and the written word, and I know in my heart of hearts that this is going to be one of the best fics I've ever read. Even if you know nothing about Persona, I highly recommend reading this.
