"Now I know what your thinking. This thing doesn't look like a Rose Quartz. So in order to prove that this is indeed Rose Quartz, I brought in a gem-identifying robonoid!" Yellow Zircon announced.
The robonoid scanned the hideous creature that was supposedly "Rose Quartz". Yellow Zircon pulled her screen out waiting for the results.
Blue Zircon stood there nervously, clutching her own screens. Once the robonoid revealed that this was indeed Rose Quartz, there wouldn't be much she could do for her. They'd both be shattered, Rose Quartz for shattering Pink Diamond, and herself for not completing her task.
Which was to prove Rose Quartz innocent.
Yep, she's definitely going to be shattered.
Just then, a notification popped up on Yellow Zircon's screen, signaling that the results had come in. Yellow Zircon opened it smugly, already knowing what it would say.
Yellow Zircon opened the message, and almost dropped her screen from shock. She couldn't believe her eyes. This couldn't be possible. The robonoid had to have been broken or tampered with.
But no, the robonoid was not broken, nor had it been tampered with.
That was no Rose Quartz.
That was a Pink Diamond.

After thousands of years of isolation from other pearls, Pearl finally reunites with a pearl sister, the pearl half of the Rhodonite fusion of the Off Colors
.
Without warning, the lilac Pearl reached up to her gem and withdrew an object from its subspace.It was just a piece of cloth. No bigger than a handkerchief, it was a pale blue in color. There was no embroidery or any other markings to designate it as being special. She held it out, and Pearl hesitantly took it into her hands.
Immediately she was surrounded by song. Hundreds of melodies wove in and out of each other, creating a beautiful symphony of sound. Each note carried a new voice, and each voice spoke directly to her.
Where are you, sister?
When will we see you, sister?
We hope you are well, sister.
We remember you, sister.
We know what you did for us, sister.
We know how you saved us, sister.
We miss you.
The Pearl Who Belonged To No One .
For what seemed like the hundredth time that day, tears fell down Pearl’s face, and without warning her sister rushed forward and slammed into her, holding her in a tight embrace. Pearl did not hesitate to return it. Her fingers were a gently yet continuous movement, even though the lilac Pearl could not see her words.
Thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you.
When she spoke into Pearl’s ear, her voice was soft enough that Steven and Ruby, close as they were, would still be unable to hear. “All of us carry that song with us, woven into whatever we can manage, in case you came back to us. We knew you were Gone, but that never held us from hoping. I never thought it would be me…” her voice trailed off, and she closed her eyes.
She finally pulled away from Pearl, and her eyes shifted just enough.
We miss you.
Pearl laughed again and held the cloth close, listening to the song. When it had reached its end, she stored it in her own subspace.
“Thank you.”

Alone, in her section of the temple, Pearl stood on one of her waterfall platforms and withdrew the piece of cloth woven with song from her subspace. Immediately a melody flowed through the room around her.It was incredible to think that Pearl Culture had in fact evolved since she’d last been on Homeworld. Song-weaving hadn’t existed before she’d come to Earth. Truly, it astounded her.
Pearl began to dance to the song, and the water rippled beneath her feet. The voices of her sisters laced together, in and out of the threads of the cloth. They danced with her and propelled her forward as she stepped in time with them. Tears trickled down her cheeks, dripping to the waters and building more ripples, but Pearl paid them no mind.
For the first time in what felt like forever, she was completely whole.
Pearl was happy.

Summary
Steven tried. He really had. He tried his best, but his bubble still wouldn't form. He didn't know whether it was because he was stuck inside - what did Jamie call her? - this quagmire of yellow, or because of how much stress he was currently under.
Everyone's lives depended in his ability to use his bubble to make the two Topazes unfuse, but what if that didn't work? Steven really should've thought of a plan b. But unfortunately he doesn't have one and can't think properly with how hard he's trying to form his bubble.
He distantly heard the ship door close, but paid no mind to it. He had to concentrate! The ship slightly rocked, having been stopped by a powerful force. But again, Steven paid no mind.
Eventually a pink light appeared, centering on him. He smiled, yes! His plan was working!
That is until Aquamarine noticed the strange pink glow, and used her beam to hold him, Topaz, and all the other hostages still.
The pink glow faded, and so did Steven's hope of escape.

Rose gave birth to two beautiful Twins, Steven and Nora Universe, one being half human and half Gem and the other being something different... Fortunately Rose didn't need to give her gem for her children to live, but where did Steven's gem come from? It doesn't matter Rose wants to have another child.
So many questions... So many mysteries, there are things that are a mystery even to the advanced gem race..
