Summary
Bucky is dead. To everyone else, Steve lost a friend, a soldier. For him, he lost a lover, his rock and crutch. They’d been together for so long that the hole Bucky leaves behind in Steve’s chest is like the remnants of a cannonball shot. Chased by grief, Steve drops the Valkyrie into the ice and thinks that this is it. He'll finally be able to be with Bucky again.
Steve wakes up in a new time, with new enemies and new friends, but the mission is the same. Bring down the enemy, no matter what. When a mysterious figure known as San Dapth makes his way onto the scene, Steve and the Avengers step forward and heed the call to arms. Together, they have to face down San Dapth and bring him to justice.
It's in their fight against San Dapth that Steve discovers something terrifying. He's pregnant with Bucky Barnes' baby. Now he must learn to live this new life without the man he loves.
Hydra learns of Steve's pregnancy. And they'll do whatever it takes to get to his unborn child, including unleashing their greatest asset from the ice—the Winter Soldier.
When Steve discovers the Winter Soldier and Bucky Barnes are one and the same, he must fight to bring back the man he loves.

Two lines run side by side through time.
One may diverge from the straight path they tread, and the other in a maze of its own creation, but one way or another, they always find their way back to the path they had started on.
Steve Rogers had fallen for Bucky Barnes at the tender age of 16, even if he himself hadn't known it yet. He had walked by his side until the very end, presumably joining him in death in the Arctic after Bucky had fallen from the train.
However, that was not the case. It was never in the cards for them to die there, never in that lifetime, never in the lifetimes that had come before.
The two lines will find each other again in a vicious fight for both life and love, a ferocious cycle that begs the question: "In this life, were we meant to fall in love, or would fate so cruelly snatch you from my grasp once again?" -

To Find Love, Steve Rogers has to sock ol’ Adolph over 200 times after going through a painful science experiment and rescuing his best friend from the enemy and 400 other guys (since he was already there).
To Find Love, Loki of Asgard has to skirt a fine line of helping the Allied Forces and not pissing of his father, Odin. Well his adopted father. He had to go through heartache and a lot of mothering from his... brother. And his mom. And his dad. And the Howling Commandos. And even a bit from Howard Stark.
Take pity on the author, it took her nearly 26k words to tell this story. Trying to sum it up in less then 1200 is a pain.

When a version of himself from the future is brought back to the past right in front of him suddenly HYDRA isn't the most interesting thing in this war. But the more time Bucky spends with himself and the new companion who came with him, the more questions he finds himself with. How much time has really passed? How much can one man be changed from himself? Who is this Sam - and what will he grow to mean to Bucky?
