Summary
Lance has been feeling a little lonely of late. Allura’s off with Lotor, Shiro’s been keeping busy on his own and Hunk and Pidge are wrapped up in this whole “Team Punk” concept that has them holed up for hours in the lab. So when he’s invited to accompany the two geniuses on a resource gathering mission he couldn’t be happier and plans to make the best of it.
And then everything goes wrong.
They’re trapped, injured, and if blood loss doesn’t get Lance first then suffocation definitely will. They need a plan but Hunk is down for the count and Lance knows he’s no good for coming up with something of that caliber. But his team needs him and he’s got to think of something. Otherwise… this cave is about to become a tomb.

Summary
It never got easier, being unable to save someone. It led to guilt, even if it was not actually your fault, and anger- anger to deep and so sour that it often led to explosions.
Sometimes the burning of the fuse was short, and the explosion brief and small and easily handled. Sometimes the fuse sat untouched for weeks- until the tiniest, littlest thing brushed a spark onto it, and it set the whole thing ablaze.
Hunk did not remember his first time failing to save someone. There had been times before, certainly. A soldier he’d been pulling to his Lion only to not make it in time- a wound he was stitching shut, only for it to be naught.
None of them stood out quite so much as this particular instance.

Summary
Hunk had plenty of scars, some physical, some not.
He even had a few scars on his knuckles from improperly binding his hands before going at his punching bag.
His skin didn’t keep big scars easy.
Hunk liked to thank his Tinamatua for that gift. Once upon a time, he used to think, in his sweet, childish way, that she had magic powers. Whenever he would get hurt, she would wash his cuts in the sea, and they would heal up without a mark.
“You are like the sand, my sweet Grandson.” She would murmur to him. “A little seawater can wash all your marks away.”
She’d always told him that their family healed easy, that wounds wiped away from their skin like the marks in the sand against the waves of the sea.
Perhaps that’s why he got along so well with Lance. If Hunk was the sand, then Lance was the ocean. They worked together- it was why they were such good friends.
But, there were some scars that not even an ocean storm could wash away.

Summary
One of the things Pidge loved the most about being in space was the tech. In the past year she had seen, destroyed, and built more things than she could ever have imagined in her wildest dreams on earth.
Which is why this planet just pissed her off. It was bad enough that they were under attack, but could it at least be some sort of cool new tech? No, they were using fucking arrows. She was taking this personally.
Or,
The paladins are engaged in battle with an anti-technology race. Pidge is unpleased, but Hunk always has her back – and her front. Bad things happen.

Summary
As you can probably tell by the title of the story and by the tags, this story is going to be full of angst. However, it's not even that angsty at the beginning. If you're only here for the platonic fluff, just read the first three chapters and be done. However, if you're ready for the shitshow that will be this story, buckle up, because here we go.
Lotor knew that he was going to betray the Paladins from the beginning, so why did he have to go and create emotional bonds with them? Hell if he knew. That couldn't be helped now, though. Now, he would do everything in his power to keep the Paladins that he did care about safe, while battling both the Galra forces and the rest of the Universe.
Okay, so, I'm really bad at descriptions, but please read this story. I have a really great plan for it, I swear!
