Summary
Tragedy often begets tragedy. Originally, the deaths of Shirley Fenette and Euphemia li Britannia served to crush the spirits of Suzaku Kururugi and Lelouch vi Britannia. With their mental states in turmoil, the two boys were led down dark paths, committing crime after crime and ultimately forsaking their lives. Though it led to a gentler world, too many innocents were dead and too many guilty parties had escaped. And their legacies would ultimately be those of monsters.
But something in the heavens had had enough of the cycle of violence. Tired of the cost of war and seeking a better ending, It summoned the dead girls and gave them a task: stop the tragedies from happening. Granting them Geasses and sending them back in time, It aimed for them to show what they could truly do and bring about that gentler world--this time, in a gentler way.
Now put back on Earth before Lelouch got his Geass, Shirley and Euphemia find that their task is daunting. With only each other to rely on, the two must navigate political schemes, past traumas, revelations about their loved ones, school festivals, and bloody battles to get what they truly deserve: their happy endings. But who can they save? And who can they not?

Haven't read yet but premise sort of reminds me of "Rescue Angels" (probably my favourite Code Geass fic that's still exclusively on FF. That title use to belong to "Another Universe", but that did eventually got brought over here. I mostly now go to FF when I want to reread Rescue Angels, that Harry/Ginny fic where Ginny is a veela & a few Fate Stay Night fics that never got transported here while using Ao3 for finding new fics).
