This alternate version of himself forces Dick to confront things that he'd been pushing down for a long time, while also bringing up things he had never considered.     Normally the bats, Roy and Kor wouldn’t be involved with some magical bullshit being done by the heads of the J.L. but none of them were going to let Jason go in there without them. Since apparently, Constantine had said that whoever the fuck they were summoning might take it easy on the Justice League for disturbing them if the Justice League had someone who was kinda, sort of, almost, maybe at one point was a part of their dominion. That person just so happened to be Jason. Which freaked him the fuck out. Not that he’d admit that. At all.

    Twelve-year-old Tim Drake has homework to finish and dinner waiting at home. He even has an invitation to spend time with Bruce before patrol the next day reviewing toxins and antidotes. It doesn't matter that Bruce prefers to keep things all-business and down in the Batcave. Having Robin again is helping, Tim can already see that, and it's always a relief to know when he's invited back.

    Sixteen-year-old Tim Drake decides that he'd rather keep his distance from the tempting research project Bruce has across two work tables. It's archaeology and time travel all at once, even more interesting than usual after Bruce's long trip through time, but Bruce probably won't crack that in one night. Getting involved in the project will eliminate Tim's chance to escape to his apartment for a quiet evening rather instead of struggling through an awkward dinner with Jason and Damian and Bruce.

    When the Tims suddenly switch times and places, twelve-year-old Tim has an invitation to dinner and sixteen-year-old Tim knows just what kind of ripples someone can leave from the past.

    Danny makes a few connections between Gotham’s vigilantes and his new family. The Justice League, mainly because of Constantine, summons Danny as the Ghost King. Bruce and co think he’s kidnapped when he vanishes with a “Aw, man. BRB.”.The JL try to keep Danny entertained while they wait for Batman to show up. Red Hood goes reluctantly in his place, and he recognizes Danny and calls Batman. Bruce finally comes to the Watch Tower, where he finds Danny entranced by space. Bruce frets over Danny immediately.

    "Batman sprints into the room, Robin on his heels.

    As the pair get closer without any indication of slowing, Danny can’t help but hover a bit out of reach.

    “Um. Hey, so listen, sorry about disappe--”

    “Report. Now.”

    “Uh. I haven’t done a book report in months, what?”

    “He does not seem injured, Father.”

    “Oh, no, I’m all good. Are… are you guys okay?”

    Batman’s nostrils flare slightly. “Explain what just happened.”

    “Yeah, so I was summoned. For a, what did you call it? A consultation?”

    Constantine sighs. “Yes, which I’d like to get back to, by the way. King Phantom still hasn’t explained how to defeat the ghost dragon.”"
