“You’re….” Eddie chokes out, not wanting to get his hopes up. But he recognizes the fatigue in your eyes; the tension in your shoulders; and the hidden synchronicity stringing you together.
“Like you?” An alien voice growls. A deep blue mass stretches across your face, seeping through your cheekbones and down your neck. You bare your teeth and Eddie is surprised to see inhumanly long sharpened teeth and a drooling tongue. The sight is painfully familiar: it appears nearly identical to Venom, save for the color. In the blink of an eye, the mass is gone, leaving you to stare at him with a sympathetic smile. “Yes.”

“And maybe I’m just paranoid,” she continued, “but even though I know he’s gone, it still feels like he…like he left a piece of himself behind.”

Peter’s head was pillowed against the window, the orange glow of the streetlights outside casting shadows across his form as they passed by. The kids chest rising and falling in deep sleep.
The man moved the rearview mirror once more to it’s original position before answering, “No, everything went as expected.”

Summary
Eddie has grown so used to Venom that he has a hard time imagining what it would be like if the Symbiote wasn’t around.
After the events that results in Carlton and Riot’s demise, some of the remaining members of the Life Foundation have formed a small group in order to get Venom back and continue Carlton’s plan.
Fleeing to New York the two soon become separated after Life Foundation once again finds and attacks them.

Meanwhile Peter Parker was enjoying his summer break, most days he would patrol whilst others he would just chill at The Tower with The Avengers, Aunt May was currently away on a business trip so he basically moved in for now.
His life was going surprisingly smoothly.
That is until one night whilst patrolling he sees a large strange creature, investigating he soon finds out said creature is an alien calling itself ‘Venom’, and demanding they eat... chocolate? Oh and find this guy called ‘Eddie’.
