Summary
A Persona is a manifestation of a person's soul - their very being. So when, in an attempt to gain the upper hand in a fight, Goro uses Call of Chaos on himself and loses control of Loki, he learns just how much his desires are reflected in his Persona's actions. Akira, his object of deeply buried affections, has the (mis)fortune of being ten feet in front of him. They both find out very quickly what Goro really wants.

Loki flares above them both, flashing with the magic of a curse spell. Without Ren needing to ask, Arsene stands between him and Loki. He takes the brunt of the attack, barely staggering from the impact. Arsene counters, and when Ren tries to call him off, he doesn't stop. He leaps forward, so he and Loki are almost face to face.
And then, Loki grabs Arsene, holds him by the arms, and pins him down. He takes those sharp claws and digs them into Arsene's arms, before he uses those fearsome teeth to bite his neck.
Arsene... arches into it?
When Akechi invites Ren into Mementos he thinks it's for a rematch, but Loki and Arsene have other plans.

He twirled a short curl around his fingers and adopted a dreamy expression, hoping to pacify his crush and mystify his former therapist at the same time.
Akechi remained silent, judging the situation and Akira as a whole, but Maruki audibly gulped. “As a theoretical, spiritual concept, or as an unhealthy relationship dynamic?”
“Yes,” Akira answered, simultaneously vague and yet straight to the point.

After conversations revolving around the type of penetration you typically didn’t come back from, the ghost haunting Akira's house quieted, potentially unnerved by its roommate’s iron will and absurd interest in pain. In the end, it’d led them both to the same conclusion and new horizons: the ghost wanted to scare Akira away, but unfortunately for everyone who had ever met him, Akira was a freak and simply did not care. Instead, Akira and the ghost formed a true roommate alliance, and the classic will they, won’t they sitcom scenario continued its ridiculous slow burn.
