It was a normal day. Or at least it started normally. Kris was woken up by his mother as usual, he went with her to school, and then during the lesson a human girl appeared with a case for Dr. Alphys- wait, what?!
Frisk had had enough. Genoside, Pacifist, Neutral, no matter what path the pupeter took, she had no choice. She felt like she was watching a movie from someone else's perspective, without having control over her own body. But there were moments when the pupeter lost control. Those were the moments when Frisk planned her rebellion step by step. When during another round of Genoside, she managed to break free and start her own life.

The story ended when the barrier broke, but life didn't. Life just keeps on happening. Funny how that works.
For Frisk, that's a mixed bag. On the one hand, you got a Brand New Friends/Family/Whatever, two pseudosiblings who kind of like you for once, and you're free of the endless cycle of people breaking you apart as they try to "fix" you. On the other, tensions between humans and monsters are high and getting higher, and something drastic needs to change before the situation gets irreparably worse.
That something might just be a musical, created by all of monsterkind coming together to tell their own story. But, as always, nothing is as easy or as simple as it seems, and Frisk holds the keys to several doors they can't unlock. Bad things lie behind them. But if they stay closed, everything they've worked so hard to gain could melt away into dust.
