Fic will mainly focus on the development of the bond between the twins and also dealing with the reality of just how dangerous their situation really is, and how much the weight of that kind of decision making can affect them, particularly for Takuya, but the whole gang will be here! Starts just following Cherubimania and will progress to the end of the season.

A loud beep from his bag made him pause, ducking into the men's bathroom so he could have some privacy from the bustle of the train station. He set his bag on the floor, digging out his emergency phone to see that the screen had turned black with white kanji flashing a message.
'Do you wish to start?'
'Yes' or 'No'
His nose wrinkled in confusion, glancing around to make sure he was alone and wondering if this was some kind of prank by Osamu, as unlikely as that would've been. It wasn't a phone call; while he didn't get many of them, he remembered what that screen looked like. After a few moments of staring, he decided to just click yes, knowing that at the very least the phone couldn't hurt him.
"Shi Yuuki."
He dropped it in surprise, the screen cracking as it hit the floor and he stumbled back into the sink, putting it between him and the phone, frightened. Why was the phone talking? Why. Was. The. Phone. Talking. H-had he accepted a call? It couldn't be, he checked before he pressed yes!
"The game to decide your future has started. Please take the train from Jiyugaoka Station to Shibuya at 17:45." -

However, such tranquility is shattered when Cherubimon, one of the three rulers of the Digital World, wages war against his comrades, Seraphimon and Ophanimon, sending the realm into chaos. Takuya Kanbara finds himself summoned from his Earth home of Shibuya to save the Digital World from Cherubimon’s tyranny. Alongside a group of other teenagers, Takuya discovers he is one of the reincarnations of the Legendary Warriors slated to return the Digital World to stability. Armed with the Spirits of their predecessors, Takuya and company prepare to defeat Cherubimon as fate intended. However, the task is much harder than expected, especially when not every Legendary Warrior is an ally, mastering the Spirits’ power is easier said than done, and wars long gone are not yet over. Desperate to escape this new world alive, they charge into frontiers unexplored.
