Summary
Sokka takes it upon himself to teach Zuko all the party games he's missed out on.
As it turns out, party games can make things pretty awkward when you're massively pining for each other but unwilling to admit it.

Summary
Follows Zuko's journey as he tries to integrate into the gaang starting with the Western Air Temple. Stayed very loyal to the show timeline with some obvious embellishments. This is a precursor to my later series with lots of relationship details that may be helpful for my later series when Zukka is full force!

Summary
Now that he thinks about it, Sokka has never really seen anyone who’s been able to be close to Zuko. Not in proximity— although that’s been proven to be difficult as well— but in an emotional way. No one’s been able to break past his defenses.
Well. No one except Sokka himself, when he’s lucky enough, or when the wine is strong enough.
“Are you afraid?” Sokka asks him suddenly, and Zuko’s eyes widen the tiniest bit when his voice rings loud in the quiet room. “With the whole marriage thing. Are you afraid?”
“Afraid of what?”
“Getting close to someone.”
Zuko sits with this, taking a long look at his palms. He seems to map out every line, every crease, every vein before he finally answers.

Summary
Firelord Zuko is many things. He’s stubborn, and determined, and caring. He’s dedicated to his work and making his nation a better place, working to undo the hundreds of years of tyranny with every swipe of his ink. He is strong, and wise, and a bit hotheaded at times, but he’s been working on that every day. Above all, he is a good, well-intentioned man.
Above all, Firelord Zuko is not a selfish man.
So, when he gives in to his urges, blurting the words he’s craved— words that have sat on the tip of his tongue eating away at him for months— Sokka is almost as surprised as Zuko is.
“Stay,” Zuko breathes, heart racing and skin scorching. And, well, maybe a little selfishness isn’t so bad.

Sokka says something sexual and causes Zuko's brain to fry, the sexual tension is strong.

Summary
"Sokka" Zuko spoke, garnering the tribesman's attention.
"Fire Lord Zuko," Sokka said, lowering his gaze to avoid Zuko's eyes, "you look well," Zuko felt so small.
Sokka spoke mechanically, rehearsed, like the conversation was strained and the six words were something he might choke on.
It dawned on him.
Zuko was alone, not even Hakoda was here to defend him from the carnivorous harpies, it was just him. His hands shook, lips trembled, but he did his best to show face. His smile disappeared, his warmth dying like the last coals on a hearth, and Zuko felt cold.
He hated the cold.

Hair in the Fire Nation is a private thing. Hair is not touched by anyone outside of family. And certainly never in public. This clashes with the Water Tribe views of hair.
Or: 5 times Sokka touched Zuko’s hair without realizing what it meant and 1 time he knew.

Summary
An Arranged Marriage to the Fire Lord's oldest child isn't what Sokka wanted in life, but he figures he can put it off until he can't anymore. If only his soon to be brother-in-law would stop giving him gifts.
-
Zuko is now apparently engaged. Great. Even better, it's to someone that hates his guts. If only his fiancé would stop rejecting his courting methods.
-
Ozai is glad to finally be rid of his son. Shipping him off to Chief Hakoda's oldest child made sure he'll be out of his hair. It's only a bonus the wife-to-be is a waterbender.
-
Hakoda is guilty, he can't believe he sold off his son to some Fire Nation princess for peace. He doubts Sokka can even look him in the eyes anymore.
-
Aang and Katara are confused. Why is everyone acting so weird, and why is Zuko not trying to capture Aang? Is that a gift?!
-
Ursa will not allow her son to go through the same pain she did. The question is who to pick off before the wedding? Her ex-husband or the spouse-to-be? -

Summary
Sokka takes a strategic step back, but he also smiles: triumphant, like he baited Zuko into exactly what he wanted. Like it’s a challenge. It’s the same way he looked when they sized each other up at the prison, with Sokka in chains that left red marks around his wrist, in tattered prison garb, malnourished and angry. Back then, that was Sokka saying: I see your power. I see you. Now, see me.
Zuko saw him then. And he sees him now; different, but the same. I see you.
Zuko lights his daos in flame. Sokka grins, back to gravel and heat. “Come on, Fire Lord. Impress me.”
Zuko burns. His vision flickers with fire. His heart races. His blood sings. His body is like a magnet, pulling ever onward to meet Sokka’s. He advances.
He pins Sokka to the wall, blades against his throat.
Or, Zuko found Aang first, Sokka and Katara were imprisoned in Boiling Rock for trying to rescue their dad, and all Sokka knows is he's pretty sure he's not supposed to think the Fire Lord is attractive but he's never let things like rules stop him before.

Summary
"She slid the door open and pushed him inside. The cell was dark, lit only by the opening on the door. Before Sokka could take in his surroundings, he heard the shuffling of bedsheets and turned around reflexively.
In front of him were two golden eyes, and a face half-covered by a scar."
