When he felt the arrow flying at terrifying speeds towards his skull, Hades knew that he had underestimated his brother by a long shot.
The arrow pierced clean through his skull without actually damaging anything and the tip released something sticky, pink and powerful inside his head, he gurgled as he felt it hiss and strain and pop while gluing itself to his brain and then his eyes were flooded with pink and he couldn't think anymore than he could breath, he could feel the beats of his heart getting spacer and weaker until a pink tendril forced his gaze straight to pair of green eyes staring across from him and his heart began to pick up, and pick up...and pick up and nothing was ever the same again for him.
Long story short: Hades gets hit with a love arrow crafted by all his fellow gods and blessed by the fates themselves in order to him hades away from a mysterious destiny foretold by a prophecy, And Elliott is the first person he meets eyes with after that fact.

Sebastian has just about given up on staying in the valley. As soon as he saves up enough from his work, he's taking his motorcycle and leaving for the city. There's nothing waiting for him in Pelican town and too many memories he would rather forget.
Elliott left the city to be able to write where nobody could criticize him. He doesn't need other's approval to do what he loves. He just wishes the people he cared about back in Zuzu could accept that.
Two college graduates left Zuzu City after their plans for the future were derailed. Vera Richards worked for Joja Pharmaceuticals and struggles with coming to terms with the drastic change her life took during college. Babs "Peaches" Roberts moves away from her hometown to find her artistic vision again after working in corporate design for three years.

The sun dipped behind the valley's cliffs, casting shadows across the beach. The sea reflected with a golden haze, waves lapping the edges. Elliott stood near the tide, hands in his coat pockets, boots sinking slightly into the sand. The salty air blew around him, flowing through his hair. They would be here soon. He glanced down at the picnic blanket he'd laid out. A modest thing, frayed at the corners, but spread carefully. He couldn’t even remember where he had gotten it, but he was glad that he had found it. Wine glasses, a wrapped basket, and a pair of fluffy pillows laid on top. The candles flickered with a gentle glow in small lanterns he had found at the back of Pierre’s shop. Not quite the ambiance of the Pirate’s Cove grotto he had once envisioned for such a night, but it’ll do.

“What, did Lewis finally make his relationship with Marnie public? I hope he knows that their ‘secret’ fling is neither secret nor a fling.”
“Will you-” Leah spat, with an irritated huff. She covered Elliott’s mouth with the hand that wasn’t holding herself up on the doorframe, literally shutting him up. “Shush!” She took another few breaths. Elliott’s mouth quirked into a small grin. He quelled his immediate desire to guess something else and let her get the words out.
“There’s a new farmer living on Old Man Allen’s property!” Leah blurted out, her voice a fast continuous stream that was punctuated by a stupid grin. “And he’s hooooooot!”
