Summary

When Rose loses her form, leaving the 3 remaining Crystal Gems behind with nothing but a curly haired baby with her gem, they aren't quite sure what to do.
Peridot can't quite understand her choices. The Rose Quartz, her Rose Quartz, left all to give a human life. She doesn't get why.
Lapis feels empty. After so many years trapped in a mirror, released by Rose and dedicating her life to a rebellion she once wished would just end, she was gone. Now she has no one to serve.
Jasper is cracking under the pressure to remain strong. She had fought along side Rose since she came from the kindergarten, and all that is left of the once great warrior is a tiny human who can barely stand. She just wants a break.Or, I finally caved to the momswap urge.

God she’s cute. Lapis thought to herself. The cashier was wearing a green “I believe” t shirt with a DIY holographic alien stitched over a shirt pocket filled with colored pencils. She had a golden dangling earring in her right ear and two plastic studs in the right. Her bright green eyes and bleached blond hair were a sharp contrast with her toffee colored skin. When Lapis met her eyes she couldn’t help but notice the kick ass smattering of freckles on her nose. There was no alternative. She had to get this woman’s phone number.
Or: Lapis and Peridot meet each other at a struggling cornershop in southern Florida and are so busy flirting with each other they have to be told off by Peri’s manager.

Summary
She hates Mondays. And Wednesdays. And even Friday, for that matter. They run together; they’re boring, stupid, inconvenient.
She especially hates the days which the alarm blares for the fifth consecutive time in an imitation of a rooster’s crow, disrupting the previously serene morning silence. As she glares maliciously at the red numbers, it takes her several of the following moments to realize that her technician roommate is nowhere nearby to turn off the contraption stationed across the room.
The alarm’s imitation crows aggressively. She isn’t quite sure if she’s going to murder her roommate today or not, but she is leaning towards a hard yes.
