      He has no idea how long he’s been there- let alone how many glasses he’s had, when something caught his attention out of the corner of his eye.

      A woman with short, wavy hair stood in a corner- looking pretty uncomfortable while being surrounded by a taller man who definitely wanted to get into her pants.

      Leon thinks he had seen the woman enter a bit after he did- clearly looking for the same relief only found in alcohol as he was.

      With an exhausted sigh, Leon stood- before the situation could get out of hand.

      There goes his enjoyable afternoon

      …At least he might be able to punch out his frustration. With that grim, albeit appealing thought, he stalked towards the man- ready to strike, should the need arise.

      The guy didn’t seem to notice the woman’s obvious discomfort- or just didn’t care about it- as he started to touch her. One hand snaking his way up her waist to her chest-

      As Leon was about to very unkindly (and possibly violently) tell him to fuck off- however, the woman herself reacted faster.

      Swiftly, yet a bit clumsily- probably due to her alcohol intake, she kicked the man in the groin, as hard as she could given her unsteadiness. Leon couldn’t help but slightly cringe at the display- he was just a man after all.
      But apparently that kick wasn’t enough, as the girl followed it up with a punch right into the guy’s face, facilitating the dude’s very painful fall to the floor.

      There was a moment of silence that was coded in disbelief from the guy laying on the ground- although Leon and the woman seemed to share the sentiment.

      The silence was broken, however, when the platinum blonde haired woman herself spoke up furiously, “D-D-Don’t fucking touch me, y-you creep.”

      Her words were slightly slurred- emphasising her state of intoxication. She shook her hand with a wince, clearly feeling the after effects of probably breaking the guy’s nose- if the crooked and bleeding nose is any indication.

      Leon couldn’t help but smirk at the display- he had sorely underestimated the chick.

      “Great kick, although the punch was a really nice touch as well.” Leon said with no small amusement, as he crossed his arms in front of his chest.

      The woman’s eyes instantly lost her fury- she looked rather like a deer in headlights given how wide her eyes became when she noticed Leon.

      Leon only barely suppressed a snort at her quickly reddening face.

      She opened her mouth to respond- probably to stutter something incoherently, but was rudely interrupted.

      “Fucking bitch! I’ll make you regret-“ the angry man on the floor started sprouting- rather pathetically, Leon thought sardonically, given how he had to hold his bleeding nose while doing so.

      As the bastard started to jump up mid rant, Leon easily caught him by the hem of his shirt.

      “Yeah, let’s not do that, bro.” Leon growled. All his amusement left him, now that he is forced to interact with that scum. (Let alone touch him- who knows from what pathetic hole he crawled out of?)

      Before Leon could knock the asshole out and be done with it, two other men joined the scene.

      Of course in his typical luck, the guys seemed to be friends with the douche that Leon was still holding- if Leon is reading the angry looks pointed at him right that is.

      “Now, I know this looks bad- but to be fair, he totally had it coming.” Leon tried (not very hard) to console the other dudes.

      A punch aimed at him (probably) confirms his theory that the men were friends with the injured one.

      Despite his inebriated state, Leon, in his very un-biased opinion, gracefully dodged the incoming attack.

      Without sparing it much thought, Leon returned the punch, only that he actually hit the other man.

      However, as he was about to dodge the second guy’s incoming fist, the man that was still holding his bleeding nose on the floor, suddenly grabbed his leg- effectively stopping him from avoiding the next hit.

      Leon prepared himself for the incoming stabbing pain in his face, but it never came.

      Instead, the second dude fell limply to the floor- revealing the blonde woman with a broken bottle in her hand behind him in the process.

    For a moment she studies him, then smiles and smooths his hair back like he’s still a little kid. “Good,” she says softly. “You’re learning.”

    Yuuji doesn’t answer. He just stands there and lets her touch him, staring past her shoulder at the drying blood staining his hands, like rust sinking into metal.

    Sick. He felt sick.

    Eddie can feel a headache growing at the front of his brain. “Okay, thanks, Maddie, just,” he clears his throat, “just tell Buck that whatever it is, he can tell me, and that I’m here when he’s ready.” 

    She rolls her eyes; it’s ridiculous how sweet those two are on each other. She parks her car and gets out, “I will.”

    “Uh, bye, thanks again.”

    Buck being in the hospital is not unusual, especially with how accident-prone he can be, but lying and asking for Eddie to be kept in the dark? That’s a new one. And he’s not too fond of it.

    A fling before Eddie leaves for Texas leaves Buck unknowingly with child, well- unknowingly until he delivers on the floor of what used to be Eddie's bedroom. Buck convinces himself that Eddie can't know, and Eddie can't be fooled.

    He felt ... .so hot. When Atsushi breathed, his throat felt raspy like he needed to cough. Sweat seemed to drip down his forehead and be slick to his white hair. Raining down his face. Atsushi feels long, slender hands gently lift off the blanket covering him. Dazai was never one for sentimentals. Maybe a smile or pat on the shoulder, or a word of encouragement, but it was….nice, though unusual, for him to be so kind. Gentle.

    “Da…zai-san,” Atsushi slowly mumbles out, voice croaky and Atsushi instantly coughs. It hurts, his throat feeling so dry. His lips were thirsty, and after his coughing fit, Atsushi licks them wet.

    “Sh,” Dazai says, his bandaged hand brushing against his forehead, pushing back Atsushi’s white bangs. “Ah, Atsushi-kun…you’re burning up. How long have you had a fever?”

    Atsushi blinks at his blurry figure, “I have…a fe..ver?”

    The kid giggled. The baker looked down at him with more fondness than Severus had ever seen before, not even from his own parents.
    “That would be so silly,” Teddy said. He ran back to his coloring book and sat down. “I’m going to draw you in a hot dog suit!”
    “You brought that on yourself,” the baker said.
    “Indeed. Thanks for the shirt.”

    Looking around Severus, Teddy waved his drawing. “Look daddy, he likes it!”
    Turning around, Severus was dismayed to feel his cheeks burning. It wasn’t entirely his fault. Remus was casually leaning against the counter and smiling at him, well, no, probably at Teddy. But Remus was damn attractive.
